West Ham’s next boss

Fortuneseeker · December 2019

It's quite possible that we will only get a point from our next three games. Pelle might decide then that the FA Cup isn't a priority so cue another tv embarrassment, this time at Gillingham. The coup de grace could come at Bramall Lane and we will be halfway through the transfer window with a new manager being sought and little time to make good use of it. As they say that is the West Ham way, we might of course have turned a corner and we will pick up several points and still be in the cup. I know which scenario the owners are  for.

IronHerb · December 2019

Aren't you hoping for that too?

Fortuneseeker · December 2019

Iron,

Of course I am but I just wanted to float the alternative scenario which we could see us in the bottom 3 in mid January with all the problems that would create. How much extra time has Saturday's win really given Pelle?

Jorderz_Moyes_will_be_Moyes · December 2019

I reckon for every win he buys himself two more games to get another win. That’s how fragile I think his position is right now.

ianbishoplegend · December 2019

Just hope Moyes is still available when he loses 3 in a row again!

Lukerz · December 2019

If some of the rumoured names being bandied about our genuine contenders to replace Pelle, then I pray that we win our next couple of games.

Trading in MP for David Moyes is not the answer.

ianbishoplegend · December 2019

If only Bishop had become a manager

You are clearly fixed Grey!

The last manager the Dave’s left hanging on in uncertainty was Grant. Look what happened there.

They need to either back him unreservedly or get rid now. Dithering is not the way forward. If they keep him it means fully backing his decisions on signings and keep him right till the end of the season even if there is a relegation threat.

IronHerb · December 2019

Do you know that they are dithering?

Do you know that they aren’t?

IronHerb · December 2019

As much as you know they are.

baracks_a_hammer · December 2019

No- one knows anything. That’s why this site is one of opinions. Doesn’t make me right or make you wrong or vice versa.

whupathman · December 2019

I'm normally wrong, does that help

Barney · December 2019

It's alright to be wrong and it is not wrong to be right

chicagohammer · December 2019

Appreciate that, Ronnie Barker just popped into my mind, always raises a smile

grey_til_I_dye · December 2019

Never mind right, my left side perception is out of whack. Weird feeling

BubblesNeverDies · December 2019

Grey, if it's not too sensitive a subject, it could be worse. I mean look at this poor so-and-so.

:yercoat:

IronHerb · December 2019

Don't worry Bubbles, that was Grey before the op.

baracks_a_hammer · December 2019

So we can strike Ancelotti off the managerial wish list. Not that at £12m a year he was ever likely to be on it in the first place.

MrsGrey · December 2019

Is that the list of young managers on an upward career trajectory?

We have missed out massively here.

baracks_a_hammer · December 2019

I didn’t say he was on my wish list necessarily. But he would have been on some people’s

alderz · December 2019

I like Ancelotti, but I think he is massively inexperienced with turning a lower mid table club into a good side

steve · December 2019

:hmm: reminds me of someone

alderz · December 2019

So let’s see if Everton have got anywhere in 18 months

Pelle = Ancelotti

Whitehorsehammer · December 2019

Lukerz. The same can be said for other top managers who are great while things are going well, but seem to find it very hard to turn it around when it is not going well.

yoyo · December 2019

Scott Parkers Fulham still going strong. Too soon?
