  • So if we sign Yarmalenko and Anderson and the Paraguay chap that's our budget gone and we still have no DM and we are rumoured to be selling Kouyate and Obiang I think we could be abit light in this area or is Pellegrini hoping we never give the ball away

We don't know what our budget is though. The common belief is that that would be it, but it might not be ;hmm
  • All these rumours of bids in with big money for various players, you do wonder where the money is coming from ;hmm or whom would need to be sold to fund some of it. I don't believe we will spend 80m+ net.

    7m - Fabianski
    22m - Diop
    Free - Wilshire
    Free - Fredericks
    17.5m - Yarmalenko (looks close)
    4m - Balbuena (looks close)

that takes us to near 50m odd ?

Then there is talks of Anderson still for 40m and so on.
  • They must have finally found the Rio to Leeds money
  • Don't forget the 60 m we will be getting for Arnie
  • ;fishslap
  • I thought the Rio to Leeds money paid for the West Stand?
  • I thought the Rio to Leeds money paid for the West Stand?

Yes mate at the old ground lol
  • After the last two seasons lots.
  • Maybe one or more of Oxford, Masuaku and Ogbonna are on their way out?
  • Not Masuaku, I'd have thought (based on Lascelles being a CB)
  • I would say Reid
  • I was trying to avoid saying Reid :(
  • I see Antonio, Cullen, Haksabanovic, Oxford, Byram, Kouyate, Hugill, Quinna, Snodgrass and Reid as likely candidates.
  • Yup, can’t argue with any of that list
  • Malaga captain linked. Could be lazy journo given Pelle and Husillos know him and Malaga have been relegated.

Recio came through the youth ranks at Malaga and played under Pellegrini at the club. The club captain made 22 appearances in La Liga for Malaga last term as the club suffered relegation. A report in the Sun newspaper by journalist Alan Nixon claimed that “Pellegrini also wants to improve his midfield and Spanish sources have revealed he is interested in Recio at his former club Malaga”
  • Yarmolenko - Dortmund to WH
    Zaha - Palace to Dortmund
    Antonio - WH to Palace

    ;hmm

Wouldnt mind those leaving, except for Sead and Quina but i can see it happen

    ;hmm

    17.5m
    45m
    25m

    Seems fair. ;whistle
  • Burke has gone to hull undisclosed fee
  • Thought to be £1.5m ;ok
  • I’m disappointed, I thought he’d breakthrough into the first team in the way Rice had.

    Good luck lad.

    Rice
    Oxford
    Diop

They're our options as it stands. Rice could be playing midfield this coming season, Oxford is as likely to be sold as he is to stay, Reid is made of glass and Diop is untested at PL level.

I think we'll sign one more. Balbuena seems to be closest, but it could yet be Mawson.
  • 51 weeks of him throwing himself to the turf would be hard to stomach.

Sorry ibl that's a trend a lot of players do nowadays so I can't hold that against him especially as his goal record is so good when he is selected?

  • Seri to Fulham for £17m doing the rounds on Twitter. Done deal apparently.
  • Lukerz,

That's cheap, I would have thought after Chelsea we would have stood a chance of signing him especially as the rumour is they (CFC) have outbid us for Anderson?
  • Ronaldo off to Juventus ;nonono
  • If fulham pull off Seri for that little then that could be the deal of the summer

Dont believe it till it is official

Ronaldo to Juve has set everything off....
  • I thought Seri was in the £40m bracket. ;hmm
  • Welll he had a £35mil release clause (like carvalho)

Only have to assume that Nice realise no one is gonna pay that

But he is very highly rated so while £35mil may be too much £17m is a hell of a deal
