Pretty good next few months fixtures wise. January through to the end of March also a good period of fixures for us.

  • What a mess we are in again , i would love to see what this lot work on during
the week its not defending that's for sure.

    What?

Last season after our first 6 games we had 3 points

Lost to Chelsea, City, Watford, WBA and Saints only beating Bournemouth

get me the scores of the games last season where we played United Away / Southampton Away / (substitute a promoted team from last season) ? Boro ? )

    I believe we got 1 point at Man U / 3 at Southampton / 3 at Boro

7 points there. This time around 0 points. So we are currently 7 down on last seasons results.
  • yeold ;ok everyone wants to play west ham at the moment its an easy 3pts

Nothing will change under this ownership .
  • I can see a call to Big Sam coming ;hmm
  • Bilic rumoured to have 4 games to save his job, the 4th game is Spurs ;run
  • I can see a call to Big Sam coming ;hmm

I can see even more empty seats than last season then ;lol
  • Yeold,

Lets sub Boro for Hull instead. Now we're only 4 points down so not so bad.
  • Comparisons between last year and this year/equivalent fixtures are not the issue for me. The only thing that matters is 3 games, 3 losses, 10 goals shipped. That represents a pretty dismal situation, one which needs rectifying urgently.
  • How many points were you expecting barracks?
  • SEVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • You know when you say something and instantly regret it? Well.......
  • And not very honest either.

We all saw him play a lot on the right, and pretty much all thought he was rubbish there.

A wide right player who'd sooner pass off to a young full back than take on his player or make the cross?

    No loss whatsoever.
  • It definitely isn't complimentary and certainly not totally honest but it doesn't come as a surprise to most of us as it just reinforces the view that Slav doesn't really know what he's doing.
There's been a mountain of posts regarding players being played out of position and his tactical naivety.

"Every time I played I was on the left. I don't know why he did it"

At West Ham he played on the left 5 times, on the right 7 times, in the hole twice and once as striker.

"I have played on the right or behind the striker at Hull City all season'." "But I'd only filled in on the left on a couple of occasions"

Partly true, at Hull last season he played either on the right and or in the hole but the previous season he played 8 times on the left.

It seems Mr Snodgrass is suffering a bout of selective amnesia. Nurse!!!!!
  • Snodgrass' debut v Citeh:

    Game 1
  • Was it Slav's fault he kept giving the ball to Byram over and over rather than cross the ball or do something himself, too?
  • Wouldn't pay the slightest big of attention to him

As mentioned earlier played equally on the left as the right and behind/as a striker and he was awful in every single game regardless

He dont have the pace or the quality to make an impact.....let's be honest his hull form was his best in a 10 year career and previously he's never really been anything more than a championship standard player
  • Even more glad he's gone now.
  • Makes you wonder why we signed him in the first place, glad he has gone not glad we wasted 10 mill and 60k a week in wages on him ;angry
  • WHU-Champo

"He dont have the pace or the quality to make an impact.....let's be honest his hull form was his best in a 10 year career and previously he's never really been anything more than a championship standard player"

Who, then, recommended we buy him and for £10m at that? ;hmm
  • NE

Jan window is always a sellers market. We needed an experienced body, and if he could have reproduced his Hull form would have done for the 2nd half of the season.
  • Grey, yeah I realise that, but do we know whose choice he was?
