Ok I'm gonna throw this out there - if the quality of new recruits which Slav wants this summer doesn't arrive within the timescales he is happy with, does anyone else think there's a chance he might WALK?
Just wanted to give Slav a bit of a shout out here. It wasn't that long ago that he was getting absolute pelters on social media for supposedly vetoing the Iheanacho deal. Well, a month or so on and Iheanacho is still with City, despite them agreeing a fee with Leicester, and we have Hernandez in the bag, so it looks like it was the right decision.
Don't get me wrong, I did want Iheanacho, and I still think he'll score a hatful when given a run of games, but we risked another Bacca situation had we persisted and that's the last thing we needed.
I suspect the £140k a week had some influence on Hernandez signing, but it's nice to hear such positive words about the manager and it looks like Slav put a lot of effort into getting him here.
Well the board seems happy, Slav seems happy and there's a positive vibe about the place. Doesn't look like Slav is going anywhere. You may as well give up now, Twist, and change your profile name right now
Hmmm sorry, my edit function seems to be misbehaving. What I was trying to say was that I expect the November one to go something like. "Yes I'm happy with the squad and I'm sure results will pick up soon especially as we are expecting Andy Carroll back shortly after Christmas". Or am I being cynical? ;hmm
Be cynical if you want and make your mind up without knowing what was said or you could just listen to it.
He talks about football and footballers, it was very interesting and his enthusiasm for the game was clear.
I'm sure it will be much the same when he talks about domestic football as it was when he talked about Croatia.
I doubt it will be full of the kind of platitudes you say. It wasn't a post match 2 minutes in front of a SkySports camera. I was an in depth chat between an experienced knowledgeable football manger and a very good football writer.
Haven to got around to it yet but Grays Hunter interviews are great, and as Suz says, it will go much deeper than that type of thing. The interviewer isn't much interested in that side as much as the game itself.
His position is under review according to tabloids today . If they are going to sack him do it now while the transfer window is still open give the new guy a chance . No doubt we will wait sign a player the new manager does not want ;wahoo

Telegraph's Jason Burt saying Slav was 5th or 6th choice manager.
Got called on it. Pointed out Rafa was 1st choice. Asked who was 4th or 5th - oh, I can't remember, but he wasn't 1st choice.

"We warned him boss, go out late at night while injured again......"
The Big Interview with Graham Hunter recorded at our pre-season camp in Germany.
Part 1 available now on ACAST, not much hammers chat, it's about Croatia.
Second interview due in November which will be about us.

I'm sure it'll be fascinating.
