According to owngoalnigeria.com we've agreed £24m for Ineanacho but what we can't agree is the buy-back amount, City want £30m, we want £40m.

http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/06/05/revealed-the-amount-west-ham-are-proposing-to-man-city-as-buy-back-fee-for-iheanacho/

Let's base the buy back fee on how many goals he scores.

baracks_a_hammer · June 2017

I think that's a complicated game to play MIA because it interferes with the game itself and decisions on the field - e.g. Is he encouraged to pass or shoot when clean through and does he/could he/should he take penalties etc.

Better the deal is kept as simple as possible IMO

claretandbluesky · June 2017

If this is true I think our 40m figure is perfectly appropriate as there must be some compensation to taking all the risk and then having to allow him to leave. Were we to get 40m we would be able to enter the market with a full pocket when seeking a replacement. If they want 30m then lets say they have to buy him back for 15m if we wish in case he Zsa Zsas.

Linked to Steve Mounie today and Anthony Modeste ;hmm

Bazshuayi · June 2017

He'll go to Chelsea and Bats will come to us ;whistle

Another name for the list of strikers we are linked to

Yeoldhammer · June 2017

Heard rumours we have put a bid in for Modeste.

ASLEFshrugged · June 2017

Not richest, most valuable. Apparently we've increased in value by 17% since last year although 11% of that value is debt.

The rumour I heard is that we have put in a modest bid for a striker.

Hang on, I'll see if I can find me boots.

The Hammers are also interested in Michy Batshuayi (Chelsea), Christian Benteke (Crystal Palace) and Alassane Plea (Nice).

Bazshuayi · June 2017

It doesn't actually say why we've suddenly gone to 'pole' for Onyekuru unless I made a mistake and missed a paragraph ;hmm

I was one of the sources Baz... ;whistle

I was just saying that Sky do not mention any reason why (as he was Arsenal bound not too long ago), not about sources or even sauces for that matter.

#mmmm sauces

£52.5m release clause. Did they put the decimal point in the wrong place?

I wonder how much of that value is due to the London Stadium?

MrsGrey · June 2017

So City sign another GK. After Bravo for around £15m, last summer, they have now spent a reported £35m (thirty five million of your British pounds) on Ederson.

That's £50m on keepers alone. ;nonono

If football manager has taught me anything, Portuguese clubs have been putting crazy minimum fee release clauses on players for a 15+ years. Not sure why they put them so high.

Run for profit, Porto especially.

It's also being reported that Costa is no longer required at Chelsea. Not saying we should go for him, but it could mean that Bats is less likely to leave ;hmm

That said, SSN did report yesterday that he wasn't prepared to spend next season on the bench with the 2018 World Cup on the horizon, so it does sound like he may be pushing for a move, particularly if Lukaku re-joins.

Lukerz · June 2017

Apparently Rangers have expressed at interest in Batshuayi.

;lol

If that is right then i would like to express my interest in Michelle Keegan ;ok

Bazshuayi · June 2017

I've been in USA too long and dont know who Michelle Keegan is ;puzzled

However, after a nostalgic YouTube visit to the 80s, Olivia Newton John is the one that I want! I mean I'm expressing an interest in....

#Oo Oo Oo honey
