    He was not helped by Potter IMO, thrown in the deep-end, just joined, not much chance to train with squad and also returning from an injury, IMO Potter should have given him a bit more time to 'bed in'....

    I agree, I think he has had little protection and found himself exposed more than he should have been in a poor side.

    This said the keeper I would have most confidence in at present by far is Fabianski, even if his best days are past him.

    Assume Magassa is being brought in as a midfielder not a centre back

    Romano reporting a loan bid with buy option for Sangare was rejected, so sounds like another midfielder is likely (and needed)

    Still hope we get an attacker, not sure there are enough goals in Bowen, Fullkrug & Wilson, Soucek who are our main goal outlets (Paqueta & Summerville I'm not counting as neither have scored consistently)

    I also believe that of all positions, Keeping is all about confidence and his must be just about shot by now.

    He faces a true test of character against Forest, (assuming he is picked) he will undoubtedly be nervous as heck at kick off and really needs a solid touch early on, a dominating catch or world class tip over will do wonders, a fumble…..and all bets are off

    Back four still a worry, hopefully Hermansen sorts himself out & shows us why we wanted him. I still feel we need a proper CB.

    West Ham have agreed a £42m deal with Southampton for Matheus Fernandes.
    The fee is broken up into £38m guaranteed payment plus £4m in add-ons.
    A medical is already underway.

    Well that's a good start....why we have to wait for 28th August is beyond me but this is West Ham under Sullivan.... year in year out we leave it late

    Still think we need a centre back and a attacker (striker or winger doesn't matter)

    If we don’t sign a striker Bowen will be back to it by October. I think we can use Paquetá as a false 9 for the meantime, but I do not trust Füllkrug or Wilson. We need a striker.
