  • Why didn’t we sign all these players Villa wanted…
  • Kane likely to win his first trophy within a few hours of signing.

On the bench. Imagine if they lose. lol
  • They’re losing 2-0 at half time.
  • It’s 3-0 now.
  • So turns out spurs lack of cups was kane`s fault =)
  • Isnt Traore a Moyes type of similar to Antonio striker? As in fast break sort of headless strong chicken? So why weren't we all over free transfer Traore (and how come Fulham got him!)
  • I've never been a fan of Traore, but I am surprised that we haven't been linked to him
  • Tonali @ Newcastle put in a great 1st match performance IMO, that could be a great buy for them even @ £55 million, time will tell.
  • SPECULATION ONLY.........Seems like Maguire deal is being delayed, various report saying he's not impressed with what we have offered him ( salary etc ) other reports saying that it's Man U delaying it till they find a replacement, you're guess is as good as mine....
Also more worrying reports that we've enquired about Man U's Martial, let's hope that's all it is...
  • Sky say no issue with Maguire deal. Deal agreed & personal terms agreed in principle. Just waiting on him finalising his pay-off from Man Utd which they are in no rush to do as don’t yet have a replacement.
  • @Lukerz, Other sources are saying it's not really money that is holding things up there is also a problem in that his family is settled in Manchester with schooling etc.
  • He's got two daughters, 4yo and 3yo, so I don't imagine schools would be that much of a problem.
  • There are simply mixed reports, no-one knows what side is true I guess, not even SSN.
  • Are we ever announcing JWP.
  • Are we ever announcing JWP.

    Tomorrow (apparently).
  • “Maguire is also settled in the Manchester area with his children at school, so there is no great incentive in moving to London,” Nixon says on his Patreon page.

ASLEF, This is where I heard it from. No problem if he doesn't join as we can sign one of Tim Steidten's younger options?

    Who is Nixon?

I got this with a quick Google from some Celeb sites and the Daily Mail

Lillie Saint (born 3rd April 2019)
Piper Rose (born 9th May 2020)

They'd be in nursery school, surely too young for infants (do they call it that these days?)
  • Alan Nixon works for The Sun. Harry Maguire hasn't been quick to leave but I realise he is still waiting on a pay off from Manchester United.

I did read a Sun article from yesterday claiming that Maguire was "stalling", turns out it was by the same Alan Nixon although he didn't mention schools in that.

There wasn't much difference between Nixon's article and the Daily Mail article a few days ago, just speculation that he could stay and fight for his place (almost the exact words of the Mail article) but no actually quotes from anyone at all.

Last month Nixon was claiming that Moyes wanted Amadou Onana as the Rice replacement but I don't remember us even bidding for him
  • Reports that Villa are entering the race for him following Mings injury.
  • Didn’t know it had been a race as such.
  • Everton & Spurs are also interested so I’d say it is.
  • Good they can have him

Don't say that, I've just got used to him almost being part of our team.

Preston, Don’t worry if we miss out on Maguire , as the rumours are, a bit like London buses, we are interested in Martial 😞 & if Paqueta goes we wil go back in for McTominay! 😬
  • I won't be heartbroken if we miss out on them hahaha
  • I will be very happy if we dont spend 30M plus wages on a 30yr old. Ok, well specifically him
  • Spurs would be the worst place for him, an underachieving team which always has the spotlight on them is just replicating United prior to last season.

But nobody expects Spurs to win anything but United are expected to win things.
  • Paqueta played like a true professional according to all reports which is to his credit. I rather he stayed. It seems like house buying, cant move till we find a replacement so we have this stalling process and its all about the money...
