All comes from the very top for me. Can't stand Sullivan I think he's a parasite.

If you think back to when Gold and Sullivan took over and the state that the club was in to call Sullivan a parasite is very harsh. The owners have spent very boldly for their wealth. They got Bilic which is what a lot of people wanted, moved him on when it went wrong, tried a PL winning manager and backed him with transfers, we stopped being a selling club. They probably made the right decision appointing Moyes to keep us up and we have averaged 9th place over the past three years and won our first trophy for years. Add to that the move, which was in the face of wide opposition, but the Boleyn ground could not be developed and IMO they did the right thing, far more people can go to games now. I like that we have “private owners” that had a real connection with the club rather than a State or some American or far Eastern owner that is only interested in money or their status of owning a football club. I'm sure it will change soon, but for the better, who knows.
This isn't the right place for a discussion on Sullivan, but imo all he's ever done has been with the idea of lining his own pocket, so I don't think calling him a parasite it that out of order.

Apparently Sullivan didn't want to pay the agent fees that were being asked for. Obviously just rumour atm.
  • @OCS, buffy & Hamstew, Actions speak louder than words. Rumours now of players actually not wanting to join the club, so it's up to the people in charge to realise there is a problem, some may say later than never, find out why and sort it out.
  • Everything's fine, there's no problems, it's all fine.

@Hamstew, Didn't that happen when we were trying to sign Onana?

Anyway it's all a cunning smokescreen so we can use all our available money to buy Osimhen.

What if the people in charge are the problem?

Genuinely worried about next season. Getting some Leicester vibes right now.
  • Some good news, just like a new signing, Vlasic has been allocated a squad number (13, are they trying to tell him something 😂🤣😂).
  • @OCS, I reckon it's a case of the lesser of the two. A few at the top are less likely to go soon. Maybe Kretinsky needs to start knocking some heads together!

    "Just like a new signing"

    Narrator: it wasn't.
  • It's ok apparently we are after Demarai Gray now Borges has fallen through
  • I like Gray
  • Fulham-bound, apparently.

We've taken so long that not only is our first choice gone, but so is the back up.

    But yeah, everything is fine.
  • Keep calm…

I've done that a few times punching a box in the back of my lorry hahaha
  • Thing is, is anyone actually surprised by the Borges news? The longer it went on, the less likely it became.

Fairly sure we won't be bringing anyone in before Bournemouth now.

Soucek and Downes it is, then.
  • Although I am saying keep calm, this is starting to feel like when I used to say Piquionne & Maiga would come good…

    Just slightly

I see there are even Leicester fans drawing comparisons.

We need to be careful here.

Wasn’t Harvey Barnes first choice? So Gray would be the back up to the back up?

Paints an even prettier picture, doesn't it 😄

You couldn’t make it up, it really is becoming farcical.

  • Over to you Moyes..

  • Mourinho can do one. He shouldn’t even be in a job ( or football ) after that disgrace in the Europa League final.😡😡😡😡
  • Don't look at the latest transfer news on twitter or sky sports. It's quite remarkable.

Is that because there isn’t any 😂

At this point you've just got to laugh.
  • When Karen Brady, speaking on behalf of the board, comes out with a statement on the last day of the window along the same lines as the Leicester owner then I will really get Leicester vibes!
