ITK saying Lingard was all but signed if it wasn't for an amazing offer from Forest at the end

Broja also wants the move, Chelsea are willing to negotiate but Tuchel has blocked it

If you're expecting us to make an offer and just sign a player straight away I think you're in for an unhappy summer every window from now untill forever

The reports seem to suggest that the offers we have put in have all stalled and not moving due to the other clubs.

If he went to Forest for 50k more but really wanted to play for us I think that says much about him. He has wasted the last couple of years of his career sat on a bench and may well have swapped a genuinely progressive side for what may end up a relegation fight just for extra money. You have to ask is his motivation football or money.

Can see him being under a lot of pressure to carry the forest team and if things don’t got smoothly he might regret it , or he will just count his money not giving a monkeys

If we offered him a three year deal on 150k and he took a one year on 200k that could be a poor decision. He could end up looking pretty average in a poor Premiership side and find it hard to demand anything like those figures next season.

I think we dodged a bullet here. I doubt he would have had the same impact as he did the season before last.
It says something that all the other PL clubs reported to be interested in him wouldn’t meet his and his agents valuation of him. It was reported his agents wanted several million to set up the deal.

WHU, I am getting used to windows where we don’t get many of the players we bid for. 👍.
Other teams appear to make bids & sign new players fairly quickly but it does appear to be a problem we have getting deals over the line. I am not just saying we should pay over the odds, there are affordable deals out there. Still need a Striker & a LB plus CDM, the clock is still ticking, time to earn your money Mr Newman. 😉

Pool fans unhappy they haven't bought a CM and are apparantly finished with their deals

Chelsea fans fuming over them going after Raphinha when he always wanted to go Barca

Leicester signing no one and not linked to anyone

Leeds not sure about letting go of two of their stars

Everton fans rejoicing over Richarlison fee....but fuming they aren't replacing him
