New man’s first summer window and I think it’s pretty clear there’s been a difference to how we’ve approached our signings. Whether they work out remains to be seen but you can see the logic to the positions that have been filled and, mostly, the types of players chosen. There’s a little randomness in how different some targets in the same position are form each other but maybe that’s also about embedding some flexibility in the squad. I think we’ve quite significantly expanded our ability to change formations/tactics if we need to.
