    Ex round-up (paraphrasing)

    - we offered £50k p/w less on the package, no wage, package than Forest for Jesse
    - scamacca deal almost agreed, player terms almost agreed, Scammaca still on the fence, does want PSG but appears they aren't that interested
    - Bid made for Kostic, he was priority after Raum (didnt wanna leave germany) and Sosa (who is waiting for City/Chelsea to move)....likely he is being brought in as a LWB
    - bid in for napoli midfielder Zielinski
    - Onana we may pull out of, don't want to match his clubs valuation
    - another young NI player may be signing

    And bad news
    - Aguerd kay be out for 2 months although unconfirmed...swelling still really bad, but doesn't seem to be an ACL or season ending...again, TBC

    Think that's basically the jist

    As far as I can see Kostic only plays LWB/LM with a back three and as LW/LM with a back 4

    Can't find any record of him play LB in a back 4

    Posted earlier really want a proper LB & on that subject it’s admirable believing in your own ability but everyone can’t join CFC or City! Wouldn’t it be nice to find a player who is not actually good but who wants to sign for us?

    100%, but there-in lies the problem

    The fans/club want us to be ambitious and buy players that are champions league quality, but then you have to think if they're champions league quality players....why would they join us?

    WHU, 👍. Offering a better salary. If you play say in Holland, France or Portugal there are only a few decent options within those countries so hopefully you consider moving abroad?

    I wouldn't have thought a medical will happen until next week though. And as we know, 72 hours is a long time where West Ham transfers is concerned.

    Well done Buffy. I must admit that I’m not too disappointed this time round.When he played Sunderland a few years ago the sound and atmosphere was pretty poor so I’m kind of off the football stadium gigs.I might have been spoiled by Leeds Arena on the next tour which was brilliant and was very much like the Springsteen gigs of legend.

    Yeah, but there are CL teams and CL teams, if you know what I mean. A huge gulf in class between some of them.

    It's not necessarily all PSG v AV. Maccabi Haifa? Olympicaos? and so on.

    And some might only be doing it for a last big pay day.

    It can be done, but it's not to say they all get Messi,

    A £35m deal for Scamacca has been agreed with Sassuolo, according to various sources.

    Still, I refuse to accept it's happening until the announcement video is released...

    I hope we've included an exclusivity clause in this deal so that Sassuolo won't accept another offer. Not sure it's even a thing, but it's a bit nervy knowing the finances of the deal are so public; what's to stop PSG, or any other suitor, gazumping us?

    We're now closer than we have been for literally years to signing a new striker, and I don't want anything to go wrong.
