Post by bubbles1966 » Sat Jul 16, 2022 10:23 pm Rumours that we have approached Udinese about their left back, Udogie.
apparently we've asked how much is udogie in the window?
Don't know how to link to specific posts on the enormous transfer thread over on KUMB, so hopefully the above is acceptable; far too good not to share 🐶🐶🐶😂🤣😂
If we're close to agreeing personal terms, I can't imagine he's injured. How would he complete a medical?
And didn't Tuchel say it wasn't a bad injury? I suspect Broja going out there was part of the game Chelsea have been playing and the 'injury' might be something similar.
Not sure I'm happy with a loan with no option to buy. He has a good season then Chelsea take him back or inflate his priced and we're back to square one. In the meantime we may miss out on someone like Scamacca, who we are closely linked with, who scored 16 league goals for a mid table team. 🤷♂️

Idk, not everything's a conspiracy. They probably took him because they have very few striker options, he's a Chelsea player and they wanted to get a closer look at him. He was wearing a protective boot, and I'd be surprised if many players would do that without some kind of injury.

Have you seen our medical team they passed Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere

Let's just get both. Succession planning for Antonio.
Expecting Ex to be stressing out because someone else is reporting the news as he can't now because of his patreon.
Yeah, I read that his latest podcast was due to be released at 4pm with a number of exclusives.
Sounds like there'll be nothing left to break at this rate.
So to summarise this morning's rumours, Broja is flying back to the UK having pushed for a move to us, and a permanent deal is very close (via Fab Romano), and we're confident of signing both Lingard and Onana this week (via The Standard).
To my mind that would be an excellent summer's transfer business
Almost perfect. The only other thing you could ask for would be signing a left back to replace Masuaku and compete with Cresswell.
If these go through, you can see how these targets and their characteristics were identified because of the specific gaps/weaknesses we've had and needed filled. That sounds like an obvious approach but it's usually not felt like we've done that.

West Ham have made an undisclosed offer for Hertha Berlin defender Jordan Torunarigha. The 24-year-old German was the subject of a 2m euro (£1.7m) bid from Belgian side Gent, where he spent the season on loan, but the Bundesliga club value him at 5m euros (£4.2m). (Voetbal Nieuws - in Dutch)
What does make me a bit nervous about all this Broja talk is that although personal terms have supposedly been agreed, and he's on his way back to the UK, Chelsea still haven't formally accepted our offer.
So everything we've read this morning could be moot.

But that might be more about whether they want to sell or loan, rather than whether we've bid enough.

Probably coming back due to injury. ☹️

I think they have improved they kept Antonio's hamstrings from going most of last season which is a miracle
Bowen / Antonio -- Lingard / Vlasic -- Fornals / Benrahma

Broja on loan with an option to buy
Lingard fills Yarmalenko vacancy
Onana fills Kral vacancy
Diop to Fulham if Dawson isn't seriously injured

Hopefully all go through and work out.
