  • I can't say I am a fan of logical reasons put in front of me where Man Utd are concerned :)
  • I read that Dec is only a yellow card away from missing the second leg!!!

That silly yellow against Sevilla for trying to pull their player to his feet could cost us dear, I would not fancy going to Lyon without him.
  • When we go 4-0 up it would he a good time for him to get a yellow imo.
  • Just noticed that Sevilla are currently 2nd in La Liga which I think is a measure of how well we did to get past them
  • They were when we played them as well
  • We also didn't just beat them but outplayed them completely at the London stadium and matched them at their own ground. Lyon were 10th in the French league when I last looked but I do think it's a significant advantage to be away first.
  • Not if you lose 3-0 😁
  • The atmosphere at home against Sevilla was I think partly because it was the second leg and we were 1-0 down. Everyone knew it had to be buzzing. But if we can replicate even half of that for Lyon it will still be massive. Can’t wait.
  • Any news of Lanzini? IMO he was badly missed last game.
  • Oh' suspended. Change previous comment to future tense.
  • So it Cresswell suspended for both of the semi final matches?
  • I think it was only a one match ban because it wasn't a violent conduct offence.
  • 1 game 👍
  • Sebastian Haller derby =)

I was there the last time we played Frankfurt at home =)
  • I have to mentio the referee, only because he was not as 'noticable' as the ref in the home leg....also, Dawson was D-awesome

Yeah the ref had a really good game I thought
  • lets hope the fans behave as their fans did not in Spain when we were there
  • If (and I hope I'm not tempting fate) we were to get to the final, would Moyes swap keepers, or just keep Fab on the bench?
  • Frankfurt aren't having a great season domestically, currently 9th. RB Leipzig are sitting 4th, so wouldn't be a pushover if they get past Rangers and we see off Frankfurt.
  • The bookies will probably have it:
    Leipzig
    West Ham
    Frankfurt
    Rangers
  • I don’t think we should be thinking about anything beyond Frankfurt tbh
  • I'm lazying around at the Mo, feeling rather smug. I feel like a kid at Christmas. I'm so chuffed.

So was I.It was one of THE great nights at Upton Park. Brooking was imperious that night.

Let’s hope Dec can repeat that in a couple of weeks time.
  • My son should’ve been there last night but he’s had big problems with the electrics in his house so he gave his ticket up. However, before the first leg he booked flights to both Frankfurt and Barcelona.
He’s got the old man’s optimism my boy.❤️
  • Still my favourite player of all time and favourite man too.
  • Where is IH and the money????

He deserves us to get to the F word (final) and W of course
