  • Sullivan says on talkSPORT 'still £100m in debt'. ;lol

We'll never hear the end of that.

Also says Sakho is 100% fit.

Says we don't need any more midfielders.

    ;nonono
  • to be honest I would be happy with Hernandez,Carroll, and Sakho if we can keep Sakho head straight and Carroll fit half the season .
  • ;hmm guess that is a lot to ask
  • Steve ;ok

Hernandez and a fully fit and focused Sakho and a fully fit and focused Carroll would give us an incredibly strong options up front.

Unfortunately, there aren't many West Ham fans that have any faith that Sakho and Carroll with be either fully fit or focused for long, if at all.

    We need another striker, IMO.
  • Lets not pin hopes on Sakho and Carroll that boat sunk a long time ago
    Another striker in is needed.
  • I believe we will get another striker in if sakho and his wages are shifted on and fletcher is loaned out

I also believe another cm will arrive if one or both of feg/snodgrass are sold

  • Yep, a CM should be the next signing IMO
  • I'd rather give Fernandes and Cullen a chance tbf, although someone like N'Diaye who sounds quite versatile could be a smart signing
  • Did anyone else see Sullivan's comment about Calleri and Zaza being dreadful?
  • Well he's not wrong.....but another unnecessary comment that is unprofessional and didn't need mentioning
  • It's like he only opens his mouth to change feet.
  • He also said chicharito is the best striker signed during his tenure. Prob true but not gonna do anything for sakho and carroll.
  • McHammer you left out the word 'potentially' which Sullivan actually used and you've changed the whole tone of the comment to knock him again.
  • edited July 2017
Unintentional paraphrasing on my part as i glanced over the article at lunch time. I dont believe I have ever previously knocked him and actually feel he does a good job.
  • McHammer

I think he said best goal scorer too, which (based on records) is a fact
  • Fact!

    FACT!!

How very dare you.... lowering the tone.

    Pft.......
  • In the wise words of Homer Simpson, 'You can use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true'.
  • Anybody else worried about losing Lanzini? Think Coutinho looks like he's off to Barca soon.

Pretty certain LFC will then try for Lanzini.
  • No, they won't, IMO.
  • I like a Manu, but he is nowhere near Coutinho's class, imo.

I very much doubt Liverpool will let Coutinho go, but if they did, with £80m in their sky rocket they could do an awful lot better than our little gem.
  • Me neither.
  • Yeah, he would be extremely low on their list of replacements for Coutinho with £80 million to spend.
  • I just hope they dont try and get Snodgrass ;whistle
