Whatever happens in the last 15 or so, this game shows that the players can put a shift in and work for the manager. Which makes me a bit more annoyed at recent form if anything

Antonio has run himself into the ground. Haller coming on.

Masuaku being readied, for Fornals for me

  Pelle agrees

Fornals didn’t do much in attack, but he worked seriously hard in defence, and then got himself an assist. Fair play to the guy

Not managing to release the pressure at all, need to hold the ball better when we win it

We're having trouble holding on to the ball. We give away the ball much too cheaply.

Yarmi in the book, but he's hurt himself in the foul, not great

I tell you what, if the real had defended in the last few games like they have in the second half today Roberto would have had a lot less opportunity to make an idiot of himself

Poor free kick conceded by Fredericks, this a worry.

Martin unconvincing there, got hurt in the process.

Can't agree there Alderz, having seen Robertos' comic goalkeeping

Willian goes down really easily when Masuaku looked at him, another really dangerous free kick to defend.

Cresswell stupidly booked for picking up the ball and booting it clear after the whistle had gone.

I’m not saying he wouldn’t have looked like one, but he would have had less opportunity

That's typical West Ham. Can't beat teams that we should but go and beat a top 4 team.

Fair play to Pelle. Didn’t think he could pull out the bag a defensively-solid performance like that.

  Everybody worked so hard.
