I think a comfortable loss today will see Pelle gone. I think we need to take a point minimum for him to remain in post.

The players will all be aware of the rumours, so we’ll be able to see how much they want Pelle to remain based on the effort levels today.
  • Wombat hope your dad is ok.
  • Well I have spent the afternoon in hospital with my rather poorly Dad. He’s westham through and through. 89 years old so he has seen the good, bad and the ugly. Please, 2019 squad could you do me the favour of giving me something to lift the spirits tomorrow. Maybe then I can tell him we played well or even just put a shift in, rather than Chelsea were all over us like a cheap suit.
    Coyi

    Get well soon wombat snr

I'm a bit meh! About today's game. I obviously want us to win but in turn don't want more time given to the manager.

You cant be meh! Every game is the chance of three precious points to get to the promise land. Its a big game for the lads and everyone connected to the club. Another game to realize our dreams. I'm not sure how Brighton feel about it though... :run:
  • Put Antonio in goal....... after all, he's played just about everywhere else!
  • The thing keeping us all up at night...

    Will we see Arthur today?
  • Baz, here's your mouthwash

  • Mark Noble says.
“Unless things change West Ham will find it hard to turn things around”.

What a complete load of ridiculous twaddle. Of course things won’t turn round if nothing changes!!

Things won’t change unless our midfield starts competing with the oppositions midfield!! We are so slow and ponderous in the middle of the park teams slice through us at will.

Chelsea’s midfield will run rings round us if we don’t compete with them.
  • I would like 3 points always.

    Roberto dropped according to Ex

He also implies we are playing a back 3/5

    Masuaku on the bench

    Four changes overall

A back 5 make sense if Rice plays between Ogbonna and Balbuena. I hope if he makes this change he also goes 2 up top for once, Antonio and Haller.

    A goalkeeper (any)
    Fredericks Balbuena Rice Ogbonna Cresswell
    Noble Sanchez
    Anderson
    Antonio Haller
  • :hmm: Hope he plays the kid in goal and not martin
  • Right
    Just done a practice run

Binoculars in case COYI score a :goal:

    Martin
    Fredericks - Balbuena - Ogbonna - Cresswell
    Noble - Rice
    Snodgrass - Anderson - Fornals
    Antonio

Roberto, Zabaleta, Masuaku, Sanchez, Yarmolenko, Ajeti, Haller

Is the side today, according to Ex, with Anderson as a 10 & Antonio up front the tweak in formation he was referring to.
  • Haller dropped ?
  • Haller on the bench, along with Zab, Mas, Sanchez, Ajeti, Yarmo & Roberto.
  • At least he has changed something.
