Chelsea v West Ham United - Pellegrini's last stand?

buffybegood

Martin gets a little lucky, should have held the shot but made amends afterwards (although the rebound should have been ruled out for offside had it gone in).

alderz

David Martin take a bow.

Spilled a shot, but the recovery save was quality

jay_in_cpt

A far improved 1st half from recent games IMO, all putting in a shift, with perhaps yet again Fornals and to some extent Anderson showing little sign of improvement. Fair play for the 1st half & yes, I said last week I would not watch, but when it's live and it's us or Liverpool , then sorry Baz, no chance!.

grey_til_I_dye

It does look like Chelsea would find us out if they went up a gear, but we haven't turned up to get a thumping, and have created some chances.

Better than I was fearing.

alderz

We’ve been alright so far. Created a couple of chances, looked livelyish on the ball, but we are conceding a lot of chances

Hamstew

Sounds like we are doing better. I'd still expect us to concede a few goals in this game but at least it sounds like we are putting up some fight.

Whitehorsehammer

A much better effort in that half, working hard and moving the ball about far quicker. Just need to keep it going in the second half.

alderz

Anderson hasn’t been great, but looks at least a little better than recent weeks. Formals has been mostly anonymous

Crezzzzzzzers

buffybegood

OMG

We've made them angry now

Let's be honest, lovely goal from Cresswell.

Honestly didn't think Cressers had a right foot.

:wahoo:

Dreadful pass from Anderson as we countered, can't help feeling we need to make the most of one of these counters as Chelsea push on as I think we'll struggle to keep a clean sheet tbh.

chicagohammer

I fear that all we have managed to do is rouse a sleeping giant :goal:

buffybegood

Great chances from successive corners but we can't quiteget the second.

Deanscaleshammer

On the radio Paul Parker has suggested James has thrown himself down and conned the ref a number of times.

Tbf, I haven’t seen that personally. I think he’s looked really good

SuzanneClaret

VAR ruled it out.

Sounds like we have had some great chances in this game to be further ahead. I hope we can hold on to the 3 points. :sofa:
