In my view Reading should be trying to tempt Chris Houghton who has not taken a role since leaving Brighton. He has proven Championship form getting both Newcastle and Brighton promoted, as well as keeping clubs in the Premiership.

I rate him as an excellent championship manager and don't understand why he doesn't get more jobs
Looks like stoke maybe close to appointing michael O’Neill as their manager. Young, up and coming, very highly regarded and on an upwards curve in their career. Wasted on a toxic club like stoke
They'd won three in a row before Fletcher took over, he lost his first game away to Plymouth 4-0, drew at home with Carlisle and lost away at Morecombe.
They drew at home to Brighton U23s in the EFL trophy last week and on Sunday they had Maldon & Tiptree of the Isthmian North at home in the Cup.
The lost 2-1.
They've given the job back to the bloke who was caretaker before they signed Fletcher.
Since becoming owner on Tuesday (today's Friday ] he has already made himself manager - after dismissing long-serving boss Paul Martin - and signed 15 players.
But Tamplin says he will be doing things "sensibly and correctly" at Isthmian League North side Romford, not as an "egotistical lunatic".

I'll leave you to ponder that, swirl it around a bit and see what comes out

Maybe Sparky has finally found his level.

Sparky will be checking his phone every couple of minutes.
# I've said it before, I'll say it again. Dance while the record spins!#

I’m not terribly good at either.
