    if we fail to sign him on the fact he could not get here on time that I’m sure all will agree is a tad poor
    If that were to be the explanation from the board (without mitigating circumstances) it would, indeed be pretty lame.

    Don't forget there are three parties needing to agree (more if you include agents) it is not just West Hams call for him to come to London but it will of course be West Hams fault in the eyes of some if the deal does not materialise

    The story on Dendoncker is that Anderlecht wanted £25 million euros we wanted to pay £16m up front with staged payments up a final amount of £22.5m. So it's not likely to happen. Now where have we been in this position before! ;angry
