Were they a laughing stock for appointing Moyes at the time?

    I don't remember that.

(Separate to the fact that the club had been in a tail-spin for a long time.)

If Moyes is appointed IMO it wil be an even more unpopular choice with fans than bfs ...when he was appointed..
Only time will tell I guess...
  • Asleef, wasn't aimed at you ;ok
  • Twist

Keep trying to justify the owners actions all you want. But they are full of 'rubbish' and have told lie after lie
Keep trying to rubbish the owners all you want by telling lie after lie.

    Me telling lies? Wow.

They were, yes. Moyes has been a busted flush ever since he left Everton. Left every club in a worse state than when he found it.

Not asking your opinion, asking if that was the perception. Didn't seem it to me.

    Twist

You constantly make assertions about the owners that either have no basis in fact, or which have been shown to be false.

You seem to be immune to facts when it comes to them.
  • Oh yes it was me who said:

    - the seats would be the same distancedistance away from the pitch at the new stadium

    - our fixtures would take priority over anything. (3 away games to start the season because of athletics)

    - the seats would be claret + blue

    - the retractable seating will be on the running track

Yet I'm the one who tells lies? Me, a fan?
  • Who wants us to be relegated if the club appoint a manager you don't like...

Sky journalist reporting he’s been sacked after talks this morning.
  • Who wants us to be relegated if the club appoint a manager you don't like...

Yep im an awful fan ;ok

I've put a few lies the owners have told there, anymore needed?
  • Twist

If you want to see us relegated, it would suggest you are no kind of fan at all.
  • twist, if you misunderstand or misrepresent what they say, it is easy to then claim they lied.

eg, seats do cover the track, seats are claret and blue.

What is that massive green carpet around the pitch then, where you can see the running track lines?

You called me a liar. Please show me where I've lied. I've shown you some of the lies the owners have told

    Distract everyone!
  • Twist

I have no intention of going over and over old ground.

If you make claims you know not to be true, what do you call it?
  • I can't actually believe we're going to be appointing Moyes, laughing stock

This would be more or less a laughing stock than Man Utd, Real Sociedad and Sunderland?

I don't want the bloke, but to go on like he is Billy Blunder who once managed his son's Cubs 4th team is OTT, imo.
He has failed ever since he left Everton. We would be appointing a failure i dont think it's an OTT reaction.

My point is, some seats cover some of the track. Not all of it, evidently.

    Is that what was 'promised'?

Also, breaking a promise isn't (imo) opinion the same as telling a lie.

(And this is a general observation, before you come back with the old 'defending the owners' schtick.)
  • I don't want Moyes but if he is who we appoint then I will get behind him and the team!
The players need the fans to be behind them on this. They of course need to actually put in an effort on the pitch but if the fans start off with digging at Moyes and the owners from the off, then we have even less chance of avoiding the drop.
