    That only applies if they sell the whole club I think, there is nothing to stop them selling part of the club to a new investor who will then pay them back any outstanding loans they have made to the club (with interest of course), then buy the rest over a period of time - say 5% per year. Providing they do not show above the agreed profit levels over that period, they would pay little or nothing, once the time constrain has passed they can sell the rest which could all be profit.

    I personally think that Bilic is great for our club. He still needs a good defensive coach (perhaps he could sign ;bfs although, based on today's result I'm not sure) and a decent scouting network. I am absolutely happy for us not to buy big and go all out marquee, scour the lower leagues and get players who are hungry.

    Lyall took 63 games to get 25 First Div wins, Greenwood 70, Arry 72, Glenda 76, Sam 81

    None of the others won 25 top flight games, Pards got 20 in 55 games and Curbs 23 in 61.

    Just to play devils advocate and then run off to bed.... If we actually did sack Bilic and you had to pick any current manager in the Prem., who would you choose?

    I'd pick one of Conte, Poch or Koeman (Mourinho would be my last choice!)

    Going outside the Premiership, it would be good to see Rafa actually arrive - I would not hold it against him switching to Real Madrid when the opportunity came ...

    It was a theoretical question... I have no desire to lose Bilic. Perhaps its more a case of which Prem managers do we rate and that we'd be happy to have here.

    OK with: Wenger, Ranieri, Guardiola, Pochettino,

    Have no opinion on: Puel, Silva, Clement, Mazzari, Karanka(sp)

    Of current managers.

    I didn't mention Bilic either.

    I was focusing on 'other' managers.

    But, if it bothers you, I'll go on the record and say I would have been happy for him to stay, and I'm happy for Bilic to stay. ;ok.

    And he plays a mean guitar, like Johnny Lyall mixed with Slash. What's not to love?

    I think Koeman is looking to be the next manager to make the leap into the elite club pool as he proved himself at Southampton and is now improving Everton, cant be long until a big club give him a go.

    I wouldn't change Billic at present but the three I think that impress me most are Koeman, Klopp and Poch, probably in that order.

    Didn't he reject us the first time we approached him?

    And in the tevez season we would likely have been relegated but for quashie's timely injury which meant he couldn't play in the run in. We had failed to win any game in which quashie played yet he wouldn't have been dropped if he didn't get injured IMO - the rest is history - noble, tevez, Zamora and co...

    even though both played for the club I wouldn't place curbs and Bilic in the same category.

    Bilic in spite of some difficulties is in another league to curbs.
