  • Is it just me, but some of these Bake Off things are not actually baking.

Tonight, 2 of the 3 things were frying. ;hmm

  • The loss of this show does`nt miff me half as much as a certain car related show...BBC looking to appease fans of both shows but introducing "Top Cake", presenters rumoured to be a top Premier League manager and B celeb from one of this ridiculous get me out of here nut jobs....
  • Andrew will win ;thumbsup

Are you telling me that my chocolate flake cake would turn out better if I didn't put it in the deep fat fryer?

  • Has anyone seen Ripper Street this week? It's about Thames Iron Works.
  • #apprentice ;cool
  • Anybody had a gander at Designated Survivor? (I think that's what it's called.)
  • Saw Deepwater Horizon last night. Pretty good imo.

Dealt with the issue on the rig, which were many, and the blow out.

Good special effects. Worth a view.
  • Watched the first 3 episodes of Designated Survivor - cracking telly.

The 24 references are inevitable, but not really accurate.

It's more like The West Wing with a healthy dash of House of Cards mixed with any standard police procedural.

That doesn't really make it sound anywhere near as good as I found it.

Ok, that sounds right up my street.

We've been watching Luke Cage on Netfix [from the Marvel stable] and I'm not sure about it and we're 4 episodes in.
  • Being watching Lucifer on Amazon Prime and Hunted on Channel 4.

The Walking Dead back soon ;wahoo (save Maggie and Daryl ;pray)
  • Finished Narcos the other night ;clap

    Surely it's a double whammy.

We've just caught up with the first three episodes and we are hooked.
  • Suze

    ;ok

    Me too.
  • Grey/Suz , is it on Netflix? Might have to check it out
  • Thanks ;thumbsup
  • Peaky blinders is a great show btw
  • Finished Luke Cage and thought it was brilliant. I like that it (and Jessica Jones) were grounded in real issues so they had more going on than just the super hero thing, which is so common these days and they all have the same basic plot (personal tragedy, super powers, struggle between powers and normal life, blah blah blah). I like that it has such heavy references to hip hop, Harlem, Malcolm X etc.

Suz, I think it's worth giving it a few more episodes at least, it gets better.
