    He says that the players had briefly discussed the possibility of Bielsa because he was one of the names being heavily linked at the time.

    Not that they necessarily wanted Bielsa or that they wanted him over Bilic.

    Typical journo drivel. He said the (French-speaking) players had discussed Bielsa and thought he'd be a good choice. Nowhere did he say or imply that Bilic wouldn't be.

    Read in the Mirror this morning that Demel and some of the other players would of preferred Bielsa instead of Bilic.
    Then you should've noticed Darren Lewis from the Mirror twisted what he actually said, which was "Bielsa would be a good appointment"

    Demel never mentioned better, or Slaven The Bearded wonder.......the articles are aimed at getting some people going, unfortunately.

    Sam is obviously the prime example of how not to endear yourself to your new fan base but others don't necessarily cover them selves in glory either

    Well, you say he was not going to say any different, but his predecessor...
    Said similar stuff over his 4 year tenure.

    But was nearly always going to be remembered by some of our more sensitive fans because he told us the truth to a degree

    A) we'd been losing a lot
    B) some of them are deluded and talk......

    B) was probably more right than he'll ever, ever know or could've imagined.

    He didn't need to tell us though.

    We knew we were losing a lot (we'd just been relegated) and we knew we hadn't played great football for years

    He wasn't breaking any news to us. We are the fans after all.

    Just a little bit of respect wouldn't of gone a miss, which is what Slav has done, coz he's smart.

    He's got everybody pushing in the same direction, which is vital if we are to 1) have a great season and 2) give the Boleyn the send off it deserves.
