    Quite right.

    Bolasie went for £30m!

    If Marseilles really want him they'll pay up.

    This has all been engineered between DP and OM so that they can get him for a low fee.

    That being said, I'm not sure there isn't another twist in all this. It's rumoured that he's split from his wife, some kind of extra marital stuff going on, it's not really a surprise that he's desperate to get back to France (again not defending him, before anyone jumps on my case!)

    Slav seems adamant that he's not for sale, unless the convo's with the board was "he's not for sale under a certain price, then he can go"

    As I said before, imagine if Payet left it for a few weeks, took stock and said that he was wrong, public apology and makes up with Slav.....

    Team mates welcome him back into the fold.......

    If he did all of that Slizzy he'd have to put a proper shift in for several games. Show he is a team player and not just be let me hog the line light egotist.

    What I've found interesting

    On the whole

    With the Payet situation it has been West Ham will unite as a team and pull together

    But with Costa

    Chelsea will implode and not win the league

    Would happily sell Payet for £30/35mil then we can try bring in Sigurdsson for £20mil of that made use the rest to finally bring in Hogan

    It would be interesting to see the fans reaction, if he did a u turn until the end of the season.

    CFC won't implode, they probably will win the league and Costa will be back short term

    Bilic wants Payet but Payet refuses to play, Payet is in control

    Costa will be back and Chelsea should win the league, and probably will even if he does go

    I can't see Dimi ever setting foot in the club again, our saying he is not for sale is simply to negotiate, they want to pay 20m and we want 30m we will be asking 35m and hopefully settle at 30m minimum and not the more likely 25m.

    There is a case for the all to common add ons in this day and age 3m if he keeps his dummy in seems fair, and 200k for every free kick Lanzini or Cresswell put over the bar.

    Payet's game has suffered because his family has gone back to France. The team has suffered because Paye is disrupting the dressing room. We're better off without him

    If that turns out to be true, it might be just about the only situation where he can work his way back. Swept under the rug as him not thinking straight because of home pressure.
