I’m not sure the goals are what I’m personally fussed about. I want a striker that is going to hold up the ball, link play, be an outlet, and occupy defenders so Bowen can be put into more high quality scoring opportunities. If these new guys don’t score a single goal, but allow the team to function better and for the goals to come from elsewhere, I think that’s a win.
At least we are getting our business done early which tells me everyone is appreciating the gravity of the situation.
I would take Stirling on loan every day. He is exactly the type of player that could have a Lingard effect. He may do zero but that's a gamble I would take for a loan.
I’d also like a CB in, a commanding one, Todibo got injured leaving us with 2, average CB’s, and that’s a major problem, the player from Brighton seems a Potter “player choice “ and so far , not favoured… ⚒️⚒️⚒️

Sounds like ( if reports are true ) Sterling prefers a West London move ( Fulham ) rather than an East London one, rumours of course.........

100% agree but easier said then done given circumstances
Maguire is out of contract in 6 months and isn't properly fancied by Amorim, maybe something there although they dont have much CB cover.
Looking at other out of contract CB's, its slim pickings but the 2 Union Berlin CB's, Doekhi and Leite are both out of contract and a quick google shows they're open to cashing in on both (both valued around €13mil). Leeds have been linked to Doekhi, Wolves and some other European clubs to Leite.
Never seen them play, but on paper could be some low risk moves, we're clearly happy to spend money this month to save our season.
What we know if we cant trust the current centre backs, especially Kilman
Ex stating Pablo has completed medical ok and signed contract. So waiting to here registration has completed to allow him to be in the squad for tomorrow.
Our third Pablo ... after Zabaleta and Fornals. Previous Pablos were good signings. Hoping this one is as good, if not better. Maybe the new Pablo will come off the bench today and score.

Who knows if that helps us.
Can't be much worse....can it?

But Nuno also played Souček & Irving as a two in crucial games against Brentford & Leeds

Early signings.
Sell-on fees.
Who are they, and what have they done with the real West Ham?
Now hopefully Castellanos passes medical.
Just waiting for a couple more Portuguese signings. Hopefully a CB is one of them.
