  • Shocking appointment in the first place.

Hodgson has stepped down, his health issues allow this and it makes sense seeing as he was apparently just about to be sacked before he fell ill:

  • An ideal job for Potter, if he wants one, just up the road from Brighton.
  • Let's hope Roy takes the hint and stays retired now. He always comes across as a nice guy, the stresses of Premier football management is no place for a 76 year old. Even Fergie finally retired at 71.
  • The stresses of being a West Ham fan is no place to be at any age =)
  • That sounds like Leeds under that Italian bloke a few years ago . They had more managers than Chelsea-
    nearly.
  • As anticipated, Glasner has been appointed at Palace:

  • Alonso says he will be staying at Bayer Leverkusen next season

Wonder who will be next to turn down Liverpool...
  • In the report I read he said he had made a promise to the fans that he wouldn't leave until he had delivered a European trophy to them, as that opportunity is gone now this season he has confirmed he will stay at least another year.

  • He's waiting for the West Ham job. I can dream can't I? hahaha
  • Barnsley sack their manager with one game of the regular season to go, whilst they're sitting in a play-off place:

  • Bringing out a Greavsie "It's a funny old game" for that one!

(I dont know why their form has tailed off so much from when they were considered auto promotion challengers but wondering what will miraculously turn it around again for the playoffs... If they reach them)

    Game’s gone etc.

  • Someone has to say that he'll Slot right in, dont they?
  • This just reminds me again that Klopp is leaving the Premier League and I truly am gutted about it.

No joking around etc. He will be a huge miss for me (despite lots here feeling the opposite. I get that we all like and dislike different players and managers so it doesnt bother me).

I am thankful at least he was here when no other team could lay a glove on Man City! God it would've been so much more boring if it was a City procession every season.

I do agree with this sentiment, but there needs to be a more appealing challenger than Liverpool (especially under Klopp) or Arsenal under Arteta for me not to want City to win.

  • and thats an issue with most of us not wanting any of the 'top' sides to win it. Out of the top chunk currently, I'd want Villa to win the league

All the other teams I dont want to eein it (in order) Man City, Spurs, Man Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle and Arsenal
