Anyone else thinks Jarod Bowen unlucky not to be named in the England squad?
Not really, he's not had a great season, although it has improved a little of late. He's up against players who've had much better seasons such as Rashford and Saka, and also Foden and Grealish as other wide options, and possibly even Eze who can play wide left.
It is crazy to think that, after a season that included a World Cup in the middle of it, that we've got International games at the end. The PL started on 5th August and won't finish for some until 19th June.
Plus Eze and Saka are much better at "winning" a penalty.
Bowen hardly tries to stay on his feet.
He's improved lately but still had some anonymous games - eg. both Alkmaar ties - so I think it's fair he's not been called up given the competition. Hope he can get back into it soon though.
jay, He did ok considering we have let most of our best players leave (Thomas, Leon, Lehmann, Dali, Daly, Hasegawa & Svitkova to name some of them) over the last few seasons & didn't get enough decent replacements in for them. I only hope Karen Brady and her colleagues who are now taking a more hands on approach have a good plan in place to make us more competitive! Possibly David Moyes could take over the role??
jay, It could be that there isn't sufficient interest in the Womens team? If David Moyes had left there would have been an active discussion taking place on here by now IMHO.
Benrahma has won the Oracle Most Powerful Goal award for his goal against Palace in November
It's so odd that he can do that yet seems to miss-time so many shots that roll tamely through to the keeper. He definitely should be having to do some solo shooting drills after training imo.

However, increased practice should help develop muscle memory which would at least be an improved level to fall back on.
