    Which suggests to me he's not there, as it would 100% have been posted, and a little clip of him with a bag with a caption 'look who's back'.

    Pereira has just released a statement, dismissing reports he is not committed to WBA, but would like to leave and references a recent offer which would have allowed him to 'achieve financial freedom by 25'.

    So he may be keen for Al-Hilal.

    Could have been an offer from us I suppose. Don't know what he's on at Brom but realistically you could imagine us doubling his wages on a 4-year contract.

    1st back is always just the medical stuff. For the whole squad return they have teams of specialists in to do the heart stuff, dental etc, don't they? I'm sure I've read that in past years. I doubt they do the same for one solitary returnee. He's probably spent much of the day at Spire Medical ( whatever it's called) having tests and check ups.

    Alternatively, if they didn't make a big fuss about the other late comers reporting for duty, there's a good case for not treating Dec any differently in the interests of team cohesion.

    The club definitely did a 'look who's back' thing when Soucek, Coufal and Yarmo returned to training, so I've no doubt they'd do the same for Rice.

    Ex said he was due back today, the Cresswell article on the OS says due back this week, so I'm sure we'll see something of him tomorrow.

    But where would the drama be if we just waited until then 🤷‍♂️

    Just watched a HammersChat YouTube video and they suggest Oxlade-Chamberlain is ‘likely’ to join West Ham (source was apparently the guy who broke the Areola news). As a result, Coventry will be going on loan.

    Who's Grealish supposed to be going to? Never seen Grealish thought of as a player who can massively change any of the biggest teams, he's just another good winger for most of them. Rice is constantly discussed as the guy who can change a midfield.
