  • Yeah, I'm just so angry. It's probably too late now and they have a head start and a lead to defend.
  • It’s definitely not too late, they’re still on the pitch! But yeah it’s so frustrating watching is struggle when we have the players to trouble them
  • It's like Moyes has a massive mental block when playing the big boys. The only team we've taken the game to is City, and we very nearly got something from it.

And tonight we're playing better now we have to chase the game.

Just wish he'd be a bit braver.
  • It's very dangerous having to chase the game against Man Utd though, that's the really annoying part.
  • I was just thinking what a good game Diop has had when he makes that error.
  • Dreadful by Diop, but we got lucky.
  • Is that Rashford challenging not high and reckless?
  • Another yellow for a Man Utd player, they've been very cynical tonight.
  • Is that Rashford challenging not high and reckless?

Of course not, he's a Man Utd player.

Maquire having a great game, sadly

Diop will be a great player one day...
  • Nice play there.
  • Soucek needed to meet that instead of letting it come to him

Let them get bodies in the way
  • Diop seems to have lost it this half . Standing off his man, not picking anyone up, hanging too deep and just marking space.
  • Go away GNev
  • Soucek needed to meet that instead of letting it come to him

Let them get bodies in the way

Soucek is another one who isn't quite having the same impact as he was. Understandable though as he's had to play almost every minute of football this season because of the squad deficiencies.
  • Lanzini’s been positive.
  • We’ve looked so, so much better since the changes. Lanzini has looked bright, but seems to not know what to do when he gets to the box. I don’t think it’s beyond us to nick one here
  • Fab has been brilliant tonight
  • Disappointing with the approach from Moyes we don't even have a midweek game. The negative hold out for a draw approach reeks of Allardyce old school tactics. Understandable if its against City who demolish teams 5 or 6 to the good but this is an injury hit Man United. We gave them too much respect.
  • Dec did great to get that ball.
  • This has been poor. Moyes has to wear 90% of the blame because the selection was terrible. Such a predictable performance and result.

But I reserve 10% for how the club has been run. Our squad is so thin that Antonio, Bowen, Soucek and Rice have no real cover or competition. They have to play regardless of form or fitness and we could find the season tailing off because of it.
  • So many nasty, cynical fouls from Man Utd.
  • That was awful. Why did Moyes do that yet again?
  • Not a performance of a team wanting champions league. Basically we turned up for 30 minutes and gave them a game. Oh what might have been if Moyes had truly believed
  • How is that not a foul by Maguire on Dawson? Dawson on Salah that's given all day long.
  • Dreadful, negative line-up and deserved loss. Horrible.
  • Moyes got that so so wrong
  • 0 shots on target. That’s not good enough for a team pushing for Champions League football.
  • missed opportunity , that's on Moyes unfortunately
  • Huge huge missed opportunity

Moyes has done fantastic but he should get the hard questions...

What on earth was he thinking...every West Ham fan in the world knew he got the line up wrong and we were all proved correct.

    Shocking
