It just looks like someone started a whisper about it. I don't see a source for the rumour on Twitter. Have any of you? Looks like it came from one of the boards, to me.
I doubt a manager would leave it until the start of the season. Even if it's a threat, it's too late for him to get anything sorted by then. I don't think a manager would do that to their own players.
Sully: David, sorry mate, we're skint. Why don't you pop down to the Marshes, only round the corner, I've heard there's a few as yet undiscovered 'ballers who could be worth a punt. Cheap as well.
“In my mind he is arguably the best holding midfield player in the country and the best thing about Declan is he will get better. Declan is carrying a lot of the team at the moment and he’s the one who will carry on from Mark Noble when it comes to an end for him. Quite often when building a club you have to sell. I hope it’s not the case with Declan but I said the same with Wayne Rooney and Joleon Lescott [at Everton]. But the team got better because we were able to sign the right players to replace them. If that ever came around [Rice leaving] I’d hope we’d be able to do the same here as well.”
Some people on this site and elsewhere are wondering why others are creating such a fuss about Grady
For me personally it is a massive issue. As a supporter I am well used to us not winning anything or coming close for that matter. And frequently flirting with relegation and sometimes succumbing. Nothing has changed on that from under these owners.
But every once in a while a player comes right through the ranks with the potential to excite and give the fans something to see and love - at least for a while. It doesn’t happen often. As a fan I’m under no illusions as a fan that such players will then be sold to even bigger things that West Ham can offer.
What I have a big problem with this time is the player has been offloaded BEFORE we have even got to see what he can do regularly for this club.

Moyesie: Och,aye boss, ye ne'er ken.
Also interesting to see No2 hasn't been listed. Has Reid been paid off? Or have they forgotten he's even on the pay roll?
Not sure if likely, but it would put the pressure on the Dave’s to get a player in who he wants & back him by the end of the week.

So I don’t know why he would be so upset by Diang’s sale.
I’m no way his biggest fan but if he has to deal with that nonsense, fair play
Only rumours, though.
A) we up our bid to there valuation
he chose us over other suitors
Just my opinion obviously though

The owners just don’t get it.
Burnley and West Ham are apart in their valuation of James Tarkowski, as Kaveh Solhekol tells The Transfer Show.
Everton sign James Rodriguez. Sheff Utd sign Ethan Ampadu on season loan.
We really are being left behind.
We finished 16th and haven't brought in anyone.
Yay.
