Why can’t things like that happen in today’s game
If the league at the time had given 3 points for a win rather than 2, City would've stayed up with Birmingham going down instead. This would've rewarded the "gung ho" approach City clearly adopted (80 scored, 77 conceded).
I mean you have loyal fans going back decades who are not able to attend and have to watch from home. Can these people not do so aswell for a while? Too much of a hardship?
