I think everybody comes out well from this article. It's very positive about football fandom, West Ham, the club replicating the memorial and even the Arsenal supporting builders!
:ok:
Just for info, anyone can start a thread, so don't be shy another time.
Footballers more than 3 times as likely to suffer from dementia. I’d imagine this will pone a range of debates about the game, particularly around kids heading the ball.
I can’t imagine there will ever be a change at senior level, because people will know the risks themselves.
Just thought you should know.

:hmm:
Example:
"Sarri's team attempted to kill the opposition with a death by a thousand passes.
Lampard has so far made Chelsea more appealing in terms of their style too and it has been no easy task unstitching Sarri's team, who took their time getting anywhere on the pitch."
And does that last phrase not ring any bells?

1. They have a transfer ban. I do not believe he would have turned down the chance to bring in new players if that had not been the casse.
2. These 'kids' are not plucked fresh-faced from the U21s:
Tammy Abraham has had 3 seasons of senior football in the Champo (2 seasons) and PL (1 season) before this one.
Mason Mount had 2 full seasons playing 1st team football - in the Champo and in the Eredivisie.
Fikayo Tomori had 2 seasons on loan, playing regularly in the Champo (Hull and Derby)
Hudson-Odoi made 20 or so appearances last season in the PL and European comps under Sarri.
Pulisic had 2 seasons of regular games in the Bundesliga and Champions League before this season.
My day is already better than it was.
There is an article on the daily mail website with a video of a gentleman who is trying launch a rocket firework from his own backside. A few things spring to mind
a) really????
b) we need to legislate to prevent such individuals being able to vote
c) it reminds me of something (similar) that Grey said he would rather do than have Allardyce as manager of West Ham
Here's another

They welded a metal cylinder to a stand and packed it with gunpowder. They sealed off the end of the cylinder, inserted a fuse via a pre-drilled hole, and lit it.
