BT sport showing game at Upton Park against Bradford 1999-2000. The team achieved bog all but some of the players on show... Di Canio , Ferdinand , Cole , Lampard. By today's standards that's £300 million worth of talent at least
A holidaymaker dressed as a clown prompted a mass brawl on a cruise ship in which passengers used furniture and plates as weapons, according to witnesses.
“One witness, part of a group involved in the trouble, explained to staff that things kicked off when another passenger appeared dressed as a clown. This upset one of their party because they’d specifically booked a cruise with no fancy dress. It led to a violent confrontation,”
Mivvis, by the way, are today masquerading as Malaysian cars. They come in various colours; chocolate myvi, blackberry myvi, blueberry myvi, lime myvi, and vaniilla myvi. They're rubbish, as well.
Napoli, coasting like a greased tea tray down a ski slope, and finding themselves with nothing to do, decide they may as well practice their simulation.
He’s really cagey that one, can be a little bit repetitive but can always be found on the shoulder of the defender ready to pluck out an opportunity :yercoat:
This is going to sound a bit unsportsmanlike but I feel Anderson needs to go to ground when he goes shoulder to shoulder with players. It's quite clear the way Anderson plays is sort of low tempo, with an element of calmness to his play. I've seen some defenders go in shoulder to shoulder with him with far more aggression and intent (as well as the fact they often are physically stronger than him anyway). Players like Noble and Scott Parker when we had him mastered this when they found themselves in difficult situations or wanted to bide down time/run the clock down. I'm not saying Anderson needs to dive in the box when there's the tiniest bit of contact, but if he's not going to win the 50-50 physical battles, sometimes hitting the floor is enough (at times) to win a free kick. Controversial I know.

"It followed an afternoon of ‘patriotic’ partying on deck, with large amounts of alcohol being consumed by many guests."
I wonder what that could possibly refer to.
Always nice to see Real discomfited, even if it means Spurs doing well.
Apparently, Real have had a player sent off in all of their pre-season games so far...
Discussing Leicester, Everton and Wolves' chances.
