When we got Bilic all the papers wanted to do was link us to Croatians. It's the laziest journalism going

Although knowing our luck, Bilic will persuade Modric to come to play for us and then the little chap'll get thrown in jail (he's been accused of perjury - hopefully it's not true).
  • why - what's Bilic done ??

    A bit harsh surely......

    More rumours today:

The express states we could be in for Javier Hernandez, who has a £13.2million [€15m] release clause.
-- I think he'd be a great signing, been on good goal scoring form for
Leverkusen and they finished a disappointing 12th last season, however
feel bigger guns will be in for him then us.

Murmurs, and unibet odds have massively fallen to 4/1 and second favourites for us to bring in the Italian keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma should he leave AC Milan.
--This would be a phenomenal signing, the starting keeper at AC for 2 full
seasons and still only 18: the next Buffon. Contract is up next year and he's
not signed another and rumours of discontent. Again here I think the chances
are very low as he will have far bigger fish to fry unfortunately.
  • Hernandez and Andre Gray at 10m and 15m would be great business gives some room to sign another playmaker to compliment Lanzini and Antonio in that 3 behind.
  • Huddersfield have just spent £20m on Aaron Mooy and Tom Ince.
  • Ogbonna has signed a new 5 year deal
  • Ooooh 170 new posts

    Ooooh new signing? Ooooh exciting....

    Oh

    We haven't signed anyone.

  • But did you enjoy your holiday Twist? Tell us all about it as that will be more interesting than our summer signings thread. Any photos? ;lol
  • Hate clickbait....

The headline "west to decide on 2 players leaving next week"

The picture underneath of Lanzini, Ayew and obiang....

    I think WHAT....

Click on the link and its about 2 kids going on loan...... ;angry
  • Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal to sign Lacazette from Lyon, Sky Sources understand.
  • You know what that means folks

Two £22m bids turned down for two different strikers, according to the Telegraph (neither have notable PL experience though):
    https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/06/30/west-ham-have-record-bids-rejected-anthony-modeste-cedric-bakambu/amp/
  • So we shouldn't have a back up plan?
If we cant / don't get Giroud or Bats or Iheanacho then we could find ourselves in the same situation as last summer where it was to late to act.

Nothing wrong in trying to agree fees with clubs, if in fact we have.
  • Apparently Marseille have just bid £24.5m for Giroud and we're still in talks with FC Koln for Modeste.
