Our defending has completely nosedived in the last four matches. Goodness me.

  April 2021

As soon as Newcastle tried to attack us we creaked and they scored
• ScotHammer

  April 2021

Oh dear. Johnson lost his man there 3-2
• Lukerz

  April 2021

  Yep, defending is rubbish.

They have only attacked 3 times. Scored 3 goals.

  Lanzini coming on?
• Jorderz_Moyes_will_be_Moyes

  April 2021

If you need a man to equalise at 3-2, Lanzini is the only option.

Gut wrenching, that 3rd goal. From a high to a massive low. We still have time for one clear chance. Worryingly so do they

whats the point in making a sub with 2 minutes left lol
• alderz

  April 2021

Fair play to the lads for this half. Really fought hard and maybe deserved something. Can’t believe how bad our defending has been recently though
• MrsGrey

  April 2021

Ogbonna done well to last the whole game
• Lukerz

  April 2021

  Gutting after getting to 2-2

But we won’t get top four with defending like that
• Yeoldhammer

  April 2021

We looked better in the second half but first half was rather comical. Defending has really gone to pot recently. Top 4 might be beyond us with that one unless we get a win against Chelsea.

It wastes time when the ref doesn’t add the requisite 30 seconds to the added time- not that we had the energy left. Great effort but a pity to allow the barcodes to do the double over us.

  Need to beat Chelsea now.
