This has been a disaster and that's it. It's been an incredible season and we've had two real shockers - they've just both come against Newcastle.

I'm not having people saying 'pathetic' or 'bottling it'. These players have been fantastic all season, wherever we finish, and so has the manager.

And I know all the 'we should have signed more players' will get trotted out after this, but who's to say these phantom players would be any good, or wouldn't be injured or suspended, or be sulkers who upset the balance of the squad.

These are the players we have and they've been great.
