I will check the stats but I think Negredo has had lots of shots but not scored many. So the 'done OK in a struggling team' I think might mask the fact that he's poor at converting chances. Which makes him not an upgrade. imo ;hmm
Sakho - depends on how Slav sees his attitude

Fletcher - if he isn't going to get game time then loan makes sense

Try and get one more striker who is good enough to compete with AC for a starting slot.
DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT make the same mistake as last year.
Focus on 2 positions RB and CF - put all our time and resources into filling those two positions with 2 starting XI quality players.
If we're serious about bringing on youth players then we have to leave space in the squad for them to come through.
Injury free, we really don't have a bad squad atm, so next season I'd be happy to see

Andre Gray from Burnley would be my targeted signing for a place up front.
Because I think he's shown enough to suggest that with a decent run he will be good enough for the PL.
If we're going to bring players in and dismiss them having played less than 5 games' playing time, we are going to go through a lot of players.

If someone said Defoe on a free or Calleri for X amount, would pick the former every time, even with his age. !
He's got a season left on his contract and while I have no doubt that S&G will try their best to offload him in the summer what club in their right mind are going to buy a player with his injury history when they can get him on a free in 2018.
Similarly no one is going to want to match the wages Carroll is currently on apart from the Chinese, Chinese football is essentially a retirement home for players who've given up on winning caps or medals, somewhere to earn megabucks before they hang up their boots, at 28 I don't think Carroll has reached that stage

You say we can't carry Carroll and Sakho on our books, why would any other club want to?
We signed them, we're going to be stuck with them. It might not be fair but that's football
His inability to settle was, by his own admission, a 'mental' thing.
He's undoubtedly a decent footballer. He's got 5 goals since going to Valencia.
I obviously didn't make my point clear.
The board (and to an extent, Slav) have been criticised for making poor signings.
Zaza isn't a poor player; he just didn't work out for us, and that wasn't something anyone could have known about in advance.
On the face of it, he looked a decent signing, and previously and subsequently has shown that he is a decent player although sadly not for us.
So, I would argue that whilst he wasn't a successful signing, he wasn't a poor one.
Zaza may be good or poor depending on the service he is getting,
and obviously he is not getting it at West Ham. If he was to get better service
and support he may well have done much better in the scoring department.
Well, Zaza, tbf, put the blame on himself, not us.
He said he didn't settle in England/London, and found he couldn't commit to us in the way he would have liked and we would have needed.

Bats will want to play more due to the World Cup coming up in the Summer of 2018, but he might get that anyway at Chelsea due to the Champions League.
Both Squawka and Whoscored use Opta data that is transmitted in the same way.
For Negredo, both have 23 on target, 27 off target, 17 blocked. You exclude blocked shots for this calculation, and it's 46% accuracy.
I'm not entirely sure where the confusion came from, but both sources are using the same data to say the same thing ;ok
