My current list, Homeland 5/5, Frontier 4/5, Helix 4/5, Hw5-0, 4/5;coming soon Walking Dead, season 7 part 2, The 100 season 5, Colony season 2, Fortitude, season 2, Expanse season 2..all hokum but good stuff....
You got a date for when "the 100" season 5 comes. I didn't think they were doing another season especially how the last episode of season 4 finished. o_O
Took me a while to notice black sails is loosely based on Treasure Island, the clue was when Long John Silver emmerged..... ;doh its vg after a slow start..
Also found Medici very absorbing, much like The Borgias and the Tudors which leads me to the excellent Vikings series.. which will have a 5th season starring Henry 8th but not as himself......Helix showed promise but season two has dived into the twilight zone.....Fortitude season 2 very watchable but no one would surely live in such a dour place for real....
Coming soon Last Kingdom, Gotham, Gof T, Colony
I believe he is playing Alfred the Great :P so looking forward to Season 5 of Vikings !.
The Last kingdom was so bad though, the BBC version of Vikings XD I still watch it though, its one of those its so bad its good. Not sure if it was a great idea to kill off over half the main cast in the last episode though lol, amusing to say the least, thought it was the BBC saying "if you do not want to renew for season 2 please list your name down on this piece of paper so we can kill you off."
I would put Black Sails in the same boat as the 100 and a few other programs, if you can get through Season 1, it picks up a lot going forward into Season 2 with what seems like bigger budgets to do what they probably originally wanted to do In the first season but couldn't.
Yeold...I thought I had read about a 5th Season iof the 100, but cant find a confirmation despite it appearing in google results...these progs come and go, mainly due to lack of budgets .....
Mrs G Legacy 24 giot off to pacey start, wont spolit it for you other than to say it was lacking the dusky tone of Jack Bauer and his infamous line "I need you Cloe to do it now!)
I saw "La La Land" Wednesday and I'm still humming the tunes.
Blame my Dad, he was a cinema manager back in the 50s/60s and raised me on Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly musicals (also Humphrey Bogart, Cary Grant, James Stewart, John Wayne, etc)
Homeland is one of the few things I watch on TV, the plot usually takes some unexpected turns and if I've guessed correctly what's going on then I'll be slightly disappointed
Just watching the first episode of the new Lethal Weapon series on ITV - as a big fan of the films and main actors I was very dubious ........
But I think the series has captured the oddball-ness of the films and I would guess all of the cast have studied the characters of the films as they are doing a really good job - think it is excellent so far.

I've watched all 16 or so episodes so far and I think it's brilliant. Has the right balance of humour, action and drama.
I gave up on Homeland after season 3. Season 1 was excellent but 2 and 3 were two of the worst I've ever seen for a show. I've heard it got better again but it doesn't deserve to be viewed after those seasons!

Vince Vaughan was hilarious in that barracks scene. Did well with the serious stuff too. Garfield was superb.
