  • He's going there for the sake of his kids and possibly his partner.....

Believe that is the family's current location, hence the rumours he'd take a pay cut to make it happen.

He's just gone about it really really badly as far as we can see, but the details around the family business could be that deep it probably had a lot to do with him going off the rails

    IMO
  • Brooking the "loyalty" payment being banded about is basically his latest deal signing on fee broken down over different periods he doesn't owe us anything because when he was paid that he hadn't effectively downed tools

    :ok
  • When he does go, I want him to write out a transfer request.
  • I'm sure he'll bear that in mind Preston. ;wink
  • When he does go, I want him to write out a transfer request.

They usually force them to do that if they've been unprofessional about it to ensure they are not due any extra fees when leaving, i.e. % of transfer fee.
  • Florin I think last season was pretty much the only season he has ever played like he did. Had he done it often before he would have been at a bigger club and would never have joined us.
  • Exactly Thorn, so don't loan as it could see his stock fall due to (potential) bad displays. To get the big transfer fee we need his stock to still be high (or as high as it can be now) so either sell now, or sit in the reserves and sell in the summer.
  • Has the bad man gone yet?
  • Suze

    I'm just checking...

    ;diop

    Nope, not in there...

    ;sofa

    Not behind here...
  • This isnt about his family. So there.
  • Believe me ;weep

    It is!

    ;ok

    I'm just checking...

    ;diop

    Nope, not in there...

  • The PSG option seems even less likely now

Polite Notice and Apology from the Mods

In all the Dimi furore, we rather let our standards slip, and have been inconsistent in our modding. ;weep

Can we remind you that amphibian- or primate-based insults referring to Payet's nationality are not OK. We have done some retrospective adjustments of various posts on this and the Palace match thread.

We have now given ourselves a good talking to, and a ;fishslap where appropriate (or specially requested).

    Thank you.

    *Notice ends.*

    ;scooter
  • MrsGrey, would it be ok to use the term metamorphosising amphibian ;biggrin
  • My apologies.

    I am a culprit and a mod.

You just can't get the staff.
  • Is an adult tadpole acceptable .................... ;yercoat
  • So I guess Seppo is not acceptable slang for a citizen of the USA?
  • edited January 2017
I'd have thought it was OK, as it is not used as a derogatory term, but is rather an evolution of rhyming slang based on Yank. Which in itself is neutral, being based on Yankee.

But I'll run it by the other mods ;ok
  • Septic Tank / Yank.

    I'd say it's ok.
  • I thought seppo was one of the Marx Brothers

    ;yercoat
  • Herb

    Think you're thinking of Bupa?
  • edited January 2017
    Bupa Brothers? ;hmm

    Never heard of 'em.
  • The Marx brother was Zeppo
  • Thought that was a lighter ;run
  • No that's when you use Nimble ;run

Sepp here in Germany is short for Joseph. Als in Sepp Blatter. (Which in itself could be called insulting ;sofa ;yercoat )
