Frankfurt 2: Electric Boogaloo

OldCastleSwift · May 2022

Pretty nervy start from us. Not a lot of composure on the ball so far.

Dodger58 · May 2022

Look more composed than them though

Surprised you’ve seen that. We look much more composed than them.

Cresswell caught out again and could (should?) have been off

Jorderz_Moyes_will_be_Moyes · May 2022

He’s gonna be sent off here.

Yeoldhammer · May 2022

Cresswell ????? got skinned on a yellow on the edge of the box

OldCastleSwift · May 2022

Yeah, he's gone. VAR referral.

WHU_Champo_league_in_7_years · May 2022

Cresswell is gonna be lucky to avoid a red here

Another poor decision as the last man

WHU_Champo_league_in_7_years · May 2022

It's a red

Cresswell has done it again

Yeoldhammer · May 2022

VAR hes off

Jorderz_Moyes_will_be_Moyes · May 2022

That’s that then. Absolutely gutting.

thornburyiron · May 2022

They’ll target him now.

Lukerz · May 2022

Game over

Yeoldhammer · May 2022

well done Cresswell thanks for throwing the tie

OldCastleSwift · May 2022

Poor defending. Poor decision to drag him down.

Right decision from the ref I'm afraid.

Ah well.

Lukerz · May 2022

That is embarrassing again from Cresswell

thornburyiron · May 2022

That’s that then. Hard enough with 11 but nigh on impossible with 10.

Always a risk with zero pace at the back.

Dodger58 · May 2022

Well we have to find an alternative left back for the final

adecoker · May 2022

Does this mean that Cresswell misses the final?

Bazshuayi · May 2022

Pretty minimal hold IMO and harsh red (is that through claret eyes??). Yellow was fine and any game with an early red spoils it

OldCastleSwift · May 2022

Frankfurt are going to completely kill this game now. Every opportunity to waste time, they will.

Lukerz · May 2022

It’s a soft foul but he should have learnt from Lyon

jay_in_cpt · May 2022

IMO For us to have any chance now, they would also need a player sent off...
So foolish by Creswell....

thornburyiron · May 2022

Johnson on for Lanzini to try to negate the defensive problem but attacking will be difficult.

That’s claret eyes. It’s 100% a red.

But I’m surprised people are saying it’s done.

steve · May 2022

Talk about the air being sucked out of all of us

I think at the other end we'd all be saying it should be red.

He held him back and dragged him down.

WHU_Champo_league_in_7_years · May 2022

It's over

OldCastleSwift · May 2022

Game done now.
