I know that is a commonplace saying this season, but for me it is the opposite:
no one is prepared to roll over and have their tummies tickled like they used to.
I think no one team can get away, because they would have to play at an almost impossibly high level to do so,given the more even nature of the teams in the PL this season.
In the season where Stoke have Shaqiri, Palace have Cabaye, Bournemouth have Iturbe, Leicester have Mahrez, Everton have Lukaku etc...the league is so much more competitive.
I know it's easy to get carried away, but I hope the squad believe anything is truly possible (ie a top 4 finish) - just like Atletico believed it was possible to disrupt the Real/Barca duopoly
Yeah baracks, that's what I've been trying to get at really. I don't think we'll get 4th, I wouldn't bet on it, I just really hope they realise it's there for them, I hope they think they're good enough. Obviously we'll never know the answer to this!
SB [a defender who played for his country] talking to you about areas of your defending which are good and those which can be improved on or RM [have you seen Everton defend this season?].
The trouble, imo, is the sub-editors (or whoever is tasked with it) who add titles which fail to reflect the content of the story, and often downright contradict it.
The trouble is that publications base how and what they report on analytics of individual articles in a way they couldn't with newspapers. Their earnings are also dependent on it.
And people read rubbish like this from the Mail, Express, Sun etc. far more than they would read a story that took a week to report on.

Nobody in this league wants win it, it would seem

He really doesn't though, does he. Doesn't even reference the owners. I hate this kind of 'journalism'.
It's sub-editing at its worst.

I do tend to think the owners (well one) get a bit carried away and some of the fans take every word literally.
