Same could be said about JWP as well 🏌🏼 All I could find was it is a straight loan agreement (no obligations). Not sure if he can be recalled or not 🤷♂️ And tbh would he want to with Forest’s 🌳 current position 🤪
Was thinking more for next season rather than the transfer window now..
Know FA cup isn't always the place to make judgements but Jayden Danns at Liverpool, 19 years old, looked a really sharp forward one who's ready for some football
Class finish, big and strong for his age and in need of minutes, he's got 3 goals in 7 senior appearances for Liverpool
Maybe a short term option whike Fullkrug/Bowen are out, even if it's as an impact player
I’m really not keen on loaning anyone in that is for the betterment of a club that isn’t us. Danns does look decent, but he’s an unknown quantity, and I don’t like the idea of us developing him for Liverpool.
Club confirm Füllkrug out for a number of weeks (if it is 3 months or more, it’s the rest of the season basically).
Indeed, he wasn't anywhere near match fit as it was, he hasn't been all season really. Seems doubtful that we'll get any meaningful minutes out of him for the rest of the season.
Was a bad decision to sign him. After going for Duran all summer, who is the complete opposite striker profile, we then decided to splash £27m on a guy over 30 who plays a completely different way. Yes, the injuries are unlucky, but he has been a disaster of a signing.

I somewhat agree but honestly we aren't on their level, maybe never will be and we aren't gonna be able to get someone from around us
Rejects/prospects from the "Big" teams, Championship players or European leagues are the options, and really January you want guys to hit the ground running and know the country and the league

Hindsight is great
Think the little we saw of him i can 100% understand why the club signed him, yea he's slow but he's clearly quality and we looked better when he was playing

Well, tbh, we'd have looked better with me on compared to Ings, who offered next to nothing.
Really poor signing when we already had 2 30+ CFs on our books if we weren't going to sign someone younger as well.

True but youth players would cost more and there is a bigger risk they just don't work out
His game wasn't built on pace, and he has never really had big injuries throughout his career, plus he had a great goalscoring record
Evanilson cost over £40mil, huge reputation from Porto and has 5 goals in 19 for Bournemouth who are flying
Nketiah, £30mil to Palace is someone who fits the young profile a lot of our fans probably wanted us to pursue, he's been rubbish no goals in 6 starts (8 subs)
If football was easy then every team would improve every year which isn't possible
Cornet hasn't even made the bench since 4th December but as yet Saints haven't cancelled his loan deal as some reports predicted
C&H confirms that we didn't put a recall clause in Aguerd's loan deal, he's started 13 out of 14 so unlikely Real Sociedad will agree to let him leave
JWP started in the FA Cup against Luton in the Cup but his last start in the Premier League was 23rd November, he was an unused sub for the next five games and has only been brought on after the 80th minute in the last three games

I’m thinking now, fresh slate and all that 🏌🏼
Got some assists of set pieces but Fornals used to be good at that too, so don’t think it made up for his ineffectiveness in open play.
