Rehan takes the final wicket, Pakistan all out for 344, a lead of 77 runs. Their tail really wagged, adding 167 for the last 3 wickets elevating them from 177-7 to an unexpected first innings lead.
An all important 55 minutes or so for England to bat through to the close; lose more than 1 wicket and we'll definitely be on the back foot, but if we get through unscathed then we likely won't be too far behind and all will still be to play for.
NZ were ticking along nicely but Carse makes a breakthrough and has Latham caught behind, 62-2. Having put NZ in, 2 wickets is the absolute bare minimum you'd want in the first session, but really you're looking for 3 or more so hopefully we can strike at least once more in the 45 minutes until lunch.

England win the toss and opt to field, which apparently is the usual thing at this ground in Christchurch.
