Wonderful sporting drama, right from day one is was terrific.
Probably the best Ashes series for nearly 20 years. Both sides played their part in a series for the ages.
Great great stuff, I enjoyed every minute of it.

What a fantastic ashes series.
Every test was close,pity the 4th was rained off.
Although the Aussies retain the ashes they still haven't won a series in England since 2001.

What a weirdly perfect finish. Incredible game to end an incredible series. Plenty of 'what if' moments for both sides and I think England can probably count themselves unlucky in the end.

Shame they had to condense the series so much; it absolutely flew by and I can remember Crawley's first ball four like it was yesterday.

On the The Hundred now, I guess. Going to miss test cricket though.

Can't take to The Hundred, such an artificial format (far too close to T20) and no team at all for me to support living in Bristol (please don't suggest the Welsh one).

So many "what if's" from the Ashes series, and, although he got better as the series went on, I still think having Bairstow keep wicket was a very big minus and was a big factor in going 2-nil down in the series, from which it was always going to be tough to recover from especially given how suspect the weather can be in an English summer.

I was at the cinema yesterday afternoon watching something quite explosive so missed the cricket until I watched the highlights later on. Great game, great result and a great series. Bazball works.

Like buffy I won't be watching The Hundred. Awful concept just to make money at the expense of the County Championship, The T20 Blast and The One Day Cup. Totally unnecessary competition.
