Hi Buffy , Alderz et al. Thank you yes am feeling much better now. Had a round of socially distanced golf on Wednesday but was on my knees after 18 holes. Should be fully functioning for Monday competition.
Josh Wander, the 777 founder, said, and he means this most sincerely, friends: "We are truly humbled by the opportunity to become part of the Everton family as custodians of the club, and consider it a privilege to be able to build on its proud heritage and values."
As the time for Sullivan selling the club comes ever closer, I'm getting increasingly nervous. Do I really want an American Investment Company owning West Ham United?
Hes said more than once that he wants the club to be passed to his kids. Maybe Kretinsky will have a say in that. Maybe the days of us being owned by Brits are just numbered
Many predicted that Sullivan was going to sell his shares once the 10-year penalty clause expired in March.
Six months later he's still here
I do think it's just a matter of time, and that it will happen sooner rather than later, certainly within the next year or so imo. It's possible that things have been complicated by the passing of David Gold as I believe the option Kretinsky holds is for all of Sullivan and DG's shares and amazingly it's been reported that DG died intestate.
Kretinsky bought his shares in November 2021 with an option to buy the club outright but that option has an unspecified time limit which according to Simon Leyland on Claret and Hugh can only be a maximum of 3 years.
The claims by the Daily Mail in April that DG died intestate were later denied by the Gold family who said that the delays were due to his estate being valued as part of the probate process.
As Venessa Gold took over DG's shares and became joint chair six weeks ago it seems that his estate has been settled.
The Daily Mail publishing fake stories? I can hardly believe it!!!
Probate takes for ever. It took me 4 months to get probate for my brother and he only had a car and a small insurance policy so I can see it taking a long long time for a millionaire’s estate.
BT have got a film going of our European triumph last season. It’s called “Massive”, well worth a watch, it certainly brought back some great memories ( and the odd watery eye).
Though as the season goes on I’m noticing that results like this maybe need a bit more thought. Is Dinos really second place? Should he be third with nobody in second? Probably!
Definitely Dinos third not second; there are two players ahead of him.
Seems like the guy who sanctioned the moves of Alvarez and Kudus from Ajax has been sacked. Seems like some were less than impressed by the take the money and run attitude. I won't complain, though, I think we have had one hell of a window this year and together with Paqueta we could become a real handful.

Will his next targets be Wolves and Bolton?

Looking at you among others, Barcodes.
Coming to an Olympic Stadium near you soon!
Tried listening to this "What if West Ham had kept their 'Golden Generation?'.
Had to give up, couldn't understand half of what they mumbled.
Apologies if this has been mentioned before.
