Proper dragging it out. It reminds me of when I time my child to get dressed for school and I threaten him with the dreaded 10 second count down. When I get near the end, the 9 and a half and 9 and three quarters start to come out.
So if we now have a new No.7 that only leaves a new LB, CDM & AM to sign. IF Diop is unhappy and we feel the money won’t still be there in January to sell him then an additional CH is needed. It might be telling as to how long Aguerd is going to be out if we don’t let him go in this window.
So we’re now looking like needing a CM & another attacking option behind the striker. A LB would be nice to allow us to move Masuaku on & compete with Cresswell.
Kostic sort of sounds like he’s an attacking option if we play a 4-2-3-1 and a Cresswell / Masuaku upgrade if we play a 3-4-3. I can’t see us getting Kostic and a left back, personally, but who knows. I’m hopeful we get Kostic and Onana and then that’ll be pretty much that. Imagine if we signed another striker too. Crazy.

Never change West Ham media team
Aguerd £30mil
Areola £8mil (£3mil add-ons)
Downes £9mil (£3mil add-ons)
Scamacca £31mil (£5mil add-ons)
The club have spent £78mil plus £11mil in add-ons with more incoming expected (kostic and a CM)
Got to give the board one credit backing Moyes as they appear to be doing
I'm assuming the loan would be for a CB, to cover Aguerd's injury.
So Kostic/Cornet, Onana and, say, Nat Phillips? That'll be another £50m-ish, some of which will presumably be recouped from the Diop sale.
Not sure how much I trust this ITK though; they did say Lingard was "nailed on" to sign for us and look how that one panned out.
But I can't see Moyes signing too many more, so three sounds about right.
