West Ham are ready to make a £30m bid for Watford's Senegalese winger Ismaila Sarr, according to the Sun on Sunday.
David Moyes' side are looking for a new forward after sanctioning the sale of Sebastien Haller to Ajax in a £25m deal this week, leaving Michail Antonio as their only recognised striker in the squad.
Watford rejected a £25m Deadline Day bid from Crystal Palace for the 22-year-old, who was also linked with moves to Liverpool and Manchester United earlier in the summer.
I think Sarr played as a striker in a few games when they were on their good run under Pearson, including the win against Liverpool. Seems to me he’s a bit weak to play it in the same way as us but maybe that’s just his age and could be worked on. He’s a talent but we definitely don’t need another winger.
If we get a striker we could switch Antonio to right wing and Bowen to left wing maybe , would give us plenty of pace
We didn’t try that with Haller, so why would we with another striker? I would have liked to at least tried Haller and Antonio together up front before we got shot of Haller.
A random sports journalist has said we've started negotiations with Salzburg for Patson Daka. Twitter people say he's really good, but I'd never heard of him until yesterday.
His agent is Freddie Kanoute, who has recently spoken very well of the club. May be an advantage, but by logic there's every chance Daka could end up at Spurs.
We may mock, but if you put aside all the other stuff that comes with him, he is many times the more suitable Prem league performer than Haller ever was. And would quite obviously suits Moyes’ way of playing.
If we are indeed linked with him, given the owners we have, it doesn’t surprise me one bit.

Would be well chuffed with any of them

That said, I can't see Moyes starting him over Antonio, although Antonio's fitness would mean whoever comes in would get a fair few games.
