The latest from Ex seems to suggest that we're almost exclusively looking at players whose contracts expire in the summer. Which in turn suggests that cost, rather than suitability, is the driving factor.
No it doesn't. It doesn't have to be an either/or. To me it suggests cost is one factor.
No point drawing up a list of targets we can't afford. That would be a waste of time.
Ok, maybe I should have said "suggests to me".
The list should be drawn up by Moyes, and should consist of players that he wants that we could realistically get, but (and admittedly my opinion of Sullivan is probably swaying my thoughts here) it seems to me more likely that Sullivan is drawing up a list of players that won't cost him much that Moyes then has to choose from.
Have FIFA definitely relaxed the rule about not being able to play for more than two clubs in a season due to the pandemic?
From the Teamtalk article -
Normally that would be it. Under FIFA guidelines, the 27-year-old would have to stay with the Hammers until the season’s end. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, FIFA and UEFA will relax their transfer regulations. Current rules dictate you can’t play for more than two clubs in one season, which Anderson has done having played briefly for the Hammers before moving to Portugal.
Shame being a transfer window it would have been nice if we had reduced the number of Sullivan's on the board not increased it by two. Is Mrs Sullivan going to be our new Director of Football?
Do we have the Haller £20m to spend? Aren't there installments still to pay to his previous Club? Or did his sale to Ajax require the outstanding sum to be paid?
Rice stated as saying he wants to stay in London. On the presumption that he leaves sometime , to a Premier team. I can't bare the thought of him at Chelsea or Spuds so, what does he expect to win at Fulham?

All quiet on this thread, other than discussions surrounding the implications of Rice joining Palace.
If history tells us anything, Sullivan likes a bit of deadline day drama, so I don't think much will happen until then.
I think he's playing a game of chicken with Bournemouth over King. Apparently they want £10m, which is a lot for someone who will be a free agent in five months time. I suspect Sullivan is waiting until the end of the month to try to get that price down to below £5m.
Can't see a lot else happening. Some accounts have been reporting we're after a ST, CM and LB, but I'd be amazed if we got all three. Definitely need a striker and midfielder though, and given our lack of funds, I reckon if we sign anyone it'll be King and Lundstram.
baracks, I’m surprised no one has mentioned Arsenal! Seriously though you would have thought there would have been several rumours being posted here on who we are about to sign as we must really be active now to get our new centre forward for Saturday.
Obviously Free transfers on the owner's minds, simple.... Aguero and Messi out of contract at the end of the season... Now, where did I put my tablets?
Out of boredom I decided to wiki Carlos Bacca. Still wheeling away at the age of 34 at Villarreal where he has notched a mightily impressive 0 goals in his 10 league outings this season. Reckon David Gold would now stand a decent chance of getting him 😂

So who knows?

This time its Argentinian newspaper El Intransigente (great name) that reckons we've made an offer. Because what we need right now is another RB!
