  • On a lighter note, has it not amazed anyone how big Gareth Bale's mouth is......He could literally eat an apple though a tennis racket.....

Would you have any of these? Besides Ndombele of course, who's out of our budget.
Assuming Levy would sell to us of course.
  • West Ham are leading the race to sign France right-back Djibril Sidibe from Monaco, with Newcastle United and Wolves also interested in the 28-year-old. (90min)
  • Moyes should sell Haller. What is the point of having paid all that money to play him as a sub and give him a couple of minutes . I personally think he is another good player ruined by West Ham because we don’t use him properly. He scored two during the week why not build his confidence instead he festers on the bench. Sell him and actually try and buy a couple of players instead of just putting in bids for players that are a joke.
This board really needs to take action this week or we are going to have an awfully poor season.
  • So bad is this transfer window for us, that we haven’t even been linked with Moussa Marega
  • We were a few weeks ago.
  • Very poor window for west ham
  • And very empty
  • image, it is a transparent one with nothing to see.
  • I see the guy we are after did not make the Burnley team, injured no doubt so will fit right in

Barely back from an ACL rupture.
  • Barely back from an ACL rupture.

It was reported that Chambers had returned to light training at the end of May, the last report was at the end of August which said he "will continue with running outside and light ball work. Aiming to be back in full training as soon as possible this calendar year."

How long does an ACL take to mend?
  • It's probably fully mended now. Give it a couple of months with us and it will be fully broken again.
  • Just get a photo of Chambers at the London Stadium holding up a West Ham shirt with his name on while being stretchered off the pitch.
  • Into the last two weeks of the window and it is as per usual with West Ham, to be linked with players with something wrong with them (injury risk, lost their way, looking for last pay cheque etc) having failed make positive, progressive signings earlier in the window.
  • On the plus side, Wiltshire knows him well so they can cuddle up on the treatment table

Chambers had a great season at Southampton 2013/14, he been playing for the kids up until then, got his first team league debut aged 18 and made 22 Premier League appearances.

£18m later he's at Arsenal and he gets nominated for the 2014 European Young Footballer award. Then Arsenal sign Bellerin, he gets fewer opportunities, sometimes he can't even get on the bench, eventually he's sent on loan to Boro and Fulham.

He's still only 25 (will be 26 in January), might be worth taking him on a season long loan with an option to buy at the end, see how he does.
  • Think a loan makes sense,as aslef mentioned he obviously has talent and age on his side

In other news Palace have bid £19mil + £6mil add ons for Brewster

A lot of money for someone unproven, but he has talent

But once again highlights how we sold Diangana for £7mil less
  • He scored 10 in 20 for Swansea last season and for a striker you tend to pay a premium.
  • Palace must surely be selling Zaha? But buying before they do so?
  • Zaha FC have denied the reports.
  • Being reported we have ended our interest in Tarkowski.
  • Never going to happen anyway imo
  • #WelcomePhilJones
  • We never had any interest. Do you think West Ham would have offered the going rate for Tarkowski? We don’t ever offer enough so we don’t get players. We will have to look abroad for a cheap player or somebody out of contract. The West Ham way now.
I see Ollie Watkins went to Villa. Followed him for a while looks a decent player.
  • Two weeks left of the window...
