On the Diop and Fabianksi thing, he said he bullied Pellegrini into signing them. What a great way to run a football club.
Such a depressing interview. Basically Moyes is being thrown under the bus for daring to want players that improve the team. Absolutely shameful.
And after saying he bullied Pellegrini into signing players, and that he wished he'd overruled him on others, and that Moyes isn't going to get the players he wants, he says, "... but you have to back the manager."
it just shows the incompetency that they sold Diangana, didn't get in the player they wanted. So the net sum = unhappy team (see Noble tweet) = unhappy manager (because they 100% i believe underminded him) = unhappy fans (selling an asset for literally peanuts to receive nothing in return)
The fans were on my back to have a Director of Football a big name manager, we did what the fans wanted and it didnt work.
Shameless.
Fans wanted a director of football to ensure continuity, not the manager's friends who would go with him. Now he blames fans, alongside Pellegrini. Never his fault. Nothing has changed since they sacked Zola.
And anyway, pretty sure the director of football stuff came from the review Moyes requested of how the club was run, not from the fans.
Maybe, just maybe, and I pray to every available God that it's happening .......
He's setting up his ..... We gave the fans everything, we're not appreciated so we're leaving
PLEASE BE THE CASE ..................... PLEASE I'll even be nice to a spud supporter if it happens PLEASE
Well Ex-Pat it is a very strange thing to do, letting everyone know that you’re depressed. So maybe there is something in what you say. Trying to leave with the sympathy card played.
The thing is, they've got to come up with some such sob story because, don't forget, they love the club, they're taking us to the next level, they're handing it down to their kids etc etc so they need an excuse to sell up (and take 100s of millions of pounds profit) so they're not called out as liars who only bought us in the first place because they saw a huge profit in it for them.
19 year old defender eh? This means he will be be put into the Dev squad, never be seen near the first team and will be unveiled as a Luton player 12 months later.

That would at least show a hint of a strategy, albeit an embarrassing one.
The alternative is that Sullivan has absolutely no idea what he's doing, which is somehow more terrifying.
Are we supposed to feel sorry for this bloke?
Shameless.

Is it any surprise he failed?
Same philosophy with managers for sully - take on the out of work ones.

Oh but we so tried to get him
28 year old with tons of experience
19 year old with no experience but plenty of potential
Are we just picking names out of a hat and see which one drops
